Most of you may be wondering about these two teams. The staff here has role-played with me various times, so they know what I'm talking about when it comes to these teams. However, you, the newbies, probably don't. That's what this thread is about! In the next two posts, I'll tell you about both the Yami no Kaze and Kibou no Senshi. Hopefully, most of your questions will be answered.
I didn't say ALL. Why? You'll need to role-play here to find out... =)
General Need-To-Understand Terms

The Yami no Kaze FAQ NOTE: OLD MEMBERS, PLEASE DO NOT RUIN ANYTHING FOR THE NEWBIES. "There had to be someone responsible for the manipulated personalities and power of the Rogue pokemon. They were known as the Yami no Kaze (Gale of Darkness). Their Minions, lower ranking, and Elites, higher ranking, still stalk the streets looking for any spare Innocent to Convert... Not many know of the Syndicate's true intentions..." -Rogue Chaos Plot
Who They Are The excerpt from my plot pretty much explains it all. The Gale of Darkness is the group which developed the formula for the Rogues. They also go out and transform the Innocents into Rogues. Causing Chaos is what they're most known for.
Their Purpose Whether or not you pay attention to the international news, the YnK has been slowly taking over the world. Houen was the first to fall, followed by Jouto. Kantou, unfortunately, was hit the worst of them all. The once thriving region is now nothing more than a Rogue-infested playground. Shinnou is crumbling, and Orre was already dead. Thankfully, Almia and Fiore haven't had anything to do with the Rogues yet. (Though both have been hit by a similar concept: uncontrollable Pokémon.)
To put it bluntly, Legendaries' homes have been hunted. The Cave of Origin has been plundered, and the Sky Pillar fell to the earth a few years ago. Ecruteak's Towers have been devastated by earthquakes. Some of Kantou's Sevii islands have been targeted as well. As to why the habitats have been hunted is for you, role-player, to find out.
Their Ranks
[/ul][/li][li]Elite [/li][li]Emperor .[/ul] There are Researchers and Scientists here as well, who help develop new ways of creating Rogues. They usually fall under the 'Minion' category and are the only ones of that rank that know anything of the Conversion methods. Most go out into the field to study the habits and such of both Rogues and any Innocents. [/li][/ul] HistoryIt was about eight years ago that the Syndicate began. Everything in the world was thriving, and tranquility blanketed all the regions. Blood Raven didn't like that one bit, so she decided to change the situation. She started within the desert of Houen, the YnK's first base being hidden under a sandy slope. By herself, she developed the first way of turning her dubbed 'Innocents' into Rogues. It worked. Slowly, she introduced her creations into the wild. After some had developed, they unknowingly infected Innocents of trainers. This thrust the Houen region into the first era of Chaos. Some people liked the idea of creating a new world as well, so they joined Blood Raven in her exploits. The organization we see today still gets members in that way. (But they use force to obtain some of the stronger, more resilient ones.) From region to region, the Gale of Darkness travels. Each one has a head base, and the slow takeover of the world is just beginning. Like, this is unfinished by THIS forum's standards.RoguesThese are what you guys probably have the most questions about. Remember the Shadow Pokémon from Gamecube games? (Coliseum and XD: Yami no Kaze) You could say my creations are spinoffs of those. However, the Rogues are far more superior. For one, there is no recorded ‘cure’ for the disease. None of the scientists in any region know how to fix this. The only person who would know the information required to make the antidote would be Blood Raven herself. Not even her Elites have a clue on how to reverse the maddened state of the Pokémon. As it states in the original plot, "When the Chaos began, random Pokémon began betraying their trainers and assaulting any being, even others of their own kind. One moment the creatures were loyal and calm. The next, a dark aura emanated from them, and the Pokémon would begin attacking. These are what people now call Rogues." You may not even KNOW if you have a Rogue. Fortunately for the good people in the world, it doesn’t seem like humans could get this. Just Pokémon. Just the creatures people had come to rely on for the last few years… Rogues have stages of being bad. Navy Blue signifies that they've been recently infected. OR this could mean that the Rogue is weak (a Baby or First-evolution Pokémon). These Rogues cannot infect anyone of yet. They do, however, love to cause mayhem and continue the Chaos. Gray means that the Rogue has just become a full Rogue. It's not completely pwnful yet, but the Rogue no longer has any free will. These infect others by bites or splattering their own blood on an open wound. At this stage or the former, it COULD be possible to turn the Rogue back into an Innocent with the help of the KnS. Black means that they're too far to be saved. The Rogues, in this stage, must be killed. These are the ones that can infect others by just being close to them for an extended amount of time along with the typical bite. These have the huge power ups and odd moves. Some of these Rogues are colored just like regular Innocents, thanks to the newest formula. SpecialnessRogues wouldn't be Rogues without being special. Time to think in the Gamecube game mindset again! The normal type advantages still apply. However, if a move is not 'Super Effective' against a Rogue, it will be deemed 'Not Very Effective'. Moves already 'Not Very Effective' will not cause any damage to the Rogue. Rogues, in turn, have a certain set of moves that is Super Effective to all Innocents. However, Rogues can also use the moves they knew as an Innocent themselves. For example, my Rogue Raichu up there can use Thunder as well as some of the special Rogue-only moves. You won't know the Rogue-only moves until you see a Rogue in the wild. [/ul] Why Join?Do you like causing Chaos? Do you have an evil character? Then the Yami no Kaze is the perfect organization for you! The package even comes with your very own Rogue Pokémon! There are no limitations to the species, except Legendaries aren’t allowed. I mean, who wouldn’t want a superpowered Pokémon which ONLY listens to you? Blood Raven has also promised to give you a share of the wealth and power if you do a good enough job for her. However, she’s hard to appease. Good luck with that. OtherJust a few things to note if you want to join this team: - There is no set 'uniform' for the Gale of Darkness. However, the team's members are known for their choice of darker clothing.
- Each person has a communicator disguised as some piece of jewelry. (This applies to male characters as well.)
- You wouldn't expect a bubbly and happy-go-lucky person to go here. Please don't even attempt unless the personality is a charade, or you have some odd way of twisting it up.
- I like to read about how characters get into their teams, if you don't mind sharing in your 'Background' section of your application.
- Depending on your character, you might get a PM with more information on the organization.

The Kibou no Senshi FAQ "Nevertheless, there was a group of trainers that sought out the solution to this problem. They called themselves the Kibou no Senshi (Warriors of Hope). Their lowest, the Warriors, allied themselves for the sake of the greater good. Heroes, the long-standing trainers, strived through the days desperate to find a solution to this Chaos. Shinyuu, a young man and their leader, planned to end this plague." -Rogue Chaos Plot
Who They Are As with the YnK, the excerpt explains the most basic facts about the Warriors of Hope. These are the only opposition of the darkness, as they help Innocents escape from the clutches of the Gale. They are most known for their courage and bravery in this unending battle of good versus evil.
Their Purpose The Kibou no Senshi was made to stop the Yami no Kaze. That is, and always will be, their main goal. Many members work out in the field to stop both Minions and Elites. The Warriors were too late to save the Houen region. They were not experienced enough and didn’t have enough members to stop the Gale in Jouto. Kanto was almost an utter failure. The opposition didn’t win everything though, as many of the Legendaries escaped thanks to the Kibou no Senshi. The good team’s forces are moving into Shinnou, and they say they’re ready to take the Gale on now. Some of the more important members are going to Almia to help find a cure for the Chaos. (Since the Ranger regions had their own success with some uncontrollable Pokémon, the KnS is giving their method a try. But, to do so, they need information and samples of the Red, Blue, and Yellow gems.)
This organization also deals with what the Yami no Kaze left behind. The Warriors are currently trying to revive the ruined regions. Their main concern is Kantou for two reasons. One, their main base is located there. Two, this was the worst coming out from all of the regions. If the KnS could deal with this, they could get the other regions back to normal in little to no time at all.
Investigators are trying to piece together the other team’s plans, but so far their efforts have been to no avail. That doesn’t stop them from trying their best, though. The Legend himself is helping by researching outside the HQ. (All his friends say it’s a bad idea, but he’d never listen.) Hopefully, a solution will be found for all of this.
Their Ranks
- Warrior
- Hero
- Legend
There are Researchers and Scientists here too. As with the YnK, most are classified under the lowest rank. In this case, that rank is a ‘Warrior’. These people are the only ones in the particular rank that know anything about the know-hows of the Chaos.
History When the era of Chaos began eight years ago, one woman knew she had to take a stand to stop it. Not much information was known about her, but Shinyuu said that she was known as Kura. She was a stern taskmaster, and yet her kindness knew no bounds. Some say she was impassive and unfeeling. Others, including the newest Legend, were closer to her. They saw the compassionate side she wouldn’t show the rest of her organization. Kura couldn’t trust the others; any form of weakness would be used against her and the Warriors of Hope. Three years into the Chaos era, she made her favorite recruit, Shinyuu, into the new Legend. He had lived through the death of the one he cared about the most, and Kura knew he was the only one strong enough to finish the job she started. Kura mysteriously disappeared after that, leaving the new leader to take care of everything. His fame helped him gather more people, and his many friends came to his aid. Shinyuu is still trying his best to fix the wrongdoings of the Yami no Kaze, and progress is being made. Slowly.
Why Join? Some people may not like the evil that’s spreading around the world. If you join the Kibou no Senshi, you could help them in their efforts to stop the Chaos. You would be safe, as opposed to a Neutral, with your Warrior buddies beside you. Who wouldn’t want to help save the world? (Excluding the baddies, of course.) Rangers are affiliated with the Kibou no Senshi, as the said organization is looking toward Almia and Fiore for help. The Yami no Kaze is a poaching organization, in a sense, when they round up all the Innocents and Convert them. The YnK could care less about Pokémon, and they use them only as tools. In short, Rangers are considered part of the KnS.
Other Just a few things to note if you want to join this team:
- There is no set uniform for the KnS. However, they wouldn't be going around in gothic/really dark clothing. Normal clothes suit them best.
- Their communicators are broaches. These broaches are primarily metallic red shields. Scarlet feathered wings flare out from the sides. This broach is usually found somewhere around the member's heart.
- No dark personalities should be here. =(
- I like to read about how characters get into their teams, if you don't mind sharing in your 'Background' section of your application.
- Depending on your character, you might get a PM with more information on the organization.
