"Stop winking at every single girl you come across," the low voice spoke with an irritated tone. A pair of black eyes shot a glare down at a seventeen year old boy. "Understand me," the voice said as it let our a snort. "Hmph. I don't wink at every girl that walks by; only the cute ones," said the male with smirk stretched out across his face. The male's green eyes stared back into the face a over-sized lizard; Charizard. Yes....Charizard can comprehend and speak the human language; be jealous. Charizard never really took a liking to this trainer that he was cursed with. However, Kenji had matured a little since being an obnoxious 12-year old who had no brains at all. He grew into a seventeen year old klutz who has a gift with charming the ladies. A clumsy flirt? Indeed. Kenji spotted a brunette about 10 feet away from him; she was walking in his direction. She had long brown hair, brown eyes, tanned skin, and an elegant figure; you know the drill. "Time to work the charm," the red head said as he began to walk toward while fixing his hair and brushing off any signs of dirt on his black t-shirt and orange pants(yes, orange pants. It's the Pokemon world..don't act surprised).
He finally et eyes with the beautiful gal. He shot her a smile and stood in front of her with a hand behind his back. "Can I help you?" her voice drifted into the ears of the teen and shot her another smile. "Actually, no. I'm here to help you. I think you dropped this," Kenji finally pulled out his right hand from behind his back. In it was a red rose. Kenji extended his arm, offering it to her. The female blushed and took the rose in her hand and gave it a sniff. She smiled as the aroma occupied her nose. "Thank you," she said, still red. Kenji smiled at her; mission accomplished. The girl slipped a piece of paper into Kenji's hand. Kenji quickly tried to open the paper that was all folded up. While doing this he got a little do rough with it and it ripped. The girl immediately thought that this was a sign that the boy had no interest in her at all. She grew angry and launched an all out smack in the face attack on Kenji. Immediately, Kenji reacted by ducking beneath the hand. The girl missed and Kenji launched back up to eye level with her. "It-it was an accident," he explained. The brunette was having no mercy for him; poor kid. Kenji scratched his head waiting for a response, but was oblivious to the other hand that the girl had. Kenji ended up on the ground with a read mark on his right cheek. Who would have thought the girl had two hands; dumb ass.
Saffron was, indeed, a wonderful place to go hunting for women. Kenji did that in every city he came across though. Charizard glared down at his trainer. He was disappointed with the teenager and also amused. Charizard forced a small smirk upon his face. It was quite a sight; seeing the creature even change his facial expression. They say every time Charizard smiles, Sabrina attempts to kill her father.
Charizard didn't bother helping the boy off the dirty ground, but he watched him slowly get to his feet. Kenji began to brush off the dirt on his clothes. He finally fixed his hair and looked back up at the lizard. "Which way to the town hall?" he asked.

azami's dressed like a hooker, lawl. --- muse: everything i ask for by the main / the way we talk by the maine. words: 757
FIST FIGHTS TURN INTO SEX, I WONDER WHAT COMES NEXT Saffron city was far larger and grander than her hometown of Eterna City, with a shopping center that towered above all else and a population that consisted primarily of young kids who were either fighting aficionados or people she kindly labeled as “psychic freaks.” It was neither of these two main cliques that had brought the teenager to a place so far from Sinnoh, but the news from her brother, who was currently rattling off some instructions to her over her cell phone. “Where the villains will meet up is a mystery, though the vigilantes will be meeting at the city hall. I'm not sure where that is, but follow a few people around.” The instructions seemed only blatantly obvious to the fifteen-year-old, who frowned at how vague her brother could be sometime — he sure could be a pain in the ass sometimes, though she loved him regardless. “So you want me to be a stalker?” There was a chuckle on the other end and Azami was quick to snap into the phone, “You're lucky I can't wring your neck from here!” She was prepared to snap the device shut when she heard a panicked, “Wait!” on the other line — he knew her far too well. Twitching, Azami grumbled, “Well?” There was a pause from her older brother, and then: “There are rumors that Seiji is there. Are you sure you can handle it with him?” She did not bother to reply — instead, in one swift movement, she snapped the flip-phone shut and threw it at the nearest wall with deadly speed and accuracy. It was a piece of smoking rubble when it fell to the ground and, panting with fury, Azami moved on without bother to care about the wasted money — money was expendable to the Akiyama family.
Gradually, she calmed down and bothered to pay some attention to her surroundings, her sapphire eyes attentive and scrutinizing. People were glancing at her, curious at the pale new arrival. Azami wouldn't lie: she was attractive (or perhaps that was her ego speaking). She was pale, but her complexion was that of marble — smooth, unblemished. (After spending a day with the Akiyama family, one would quickly realize that they took great pride in their looks.) Long, violet locks were curled, with side-swept bangs covering roughly half of her forehead. Roughly five feet, five inches tall, she was petite — not strong physically, though her long legs were nicely accentuated by a jean miniskirt and black, high-heeled boots. Her wardrobe did not lighten at her torso, with a tank-top similar to the color of her hair and a dark gray vest — plates of metal were hidden within the high-collared vest, acting as armor while, unfortunately, slowing her down considerably. Regardless, it was useful when speed was unnecessary and surprise attacks weren't out of the question.
Despite the curious glances, no one seemed to want to help her — perhaps they had seen her fit, for they seemed a little scared. Ah well, she was well-known for her temper back in Eterna; Saffron should be no different. None of these people mattered, anyways, when she heard the words of some near-by man. "Which way to the town hall?" Well, he was useless, but a glance in the other teen's direction piqued the Akiyama girl's interest. Always the flirt, she couldn't help but approach him. She loved someone, but that someone certainly didn't love her — he was a demon, an evil and heinous villain that went against everything she stood for. Flirting with other men gave her the satisfaction that came when getting sweet revenge. Knowing that he was likely to be in this city — could he be watching? — only gave her further reason to be the tease she adored being. Smiling softly, she stopped before the red-headed stranger, narrow eyes looking up at his face with an expression that made it only obvious that she liked what she saw. “Looking for the city hall, are you? I was hoping you could show me...” Her shoulders slumped then as Azami gave an over-emphasized sigh, looking away. “I guess I'll have to find someone else to help me out, then.” She took one step away, slow and hesitant, wondering if he would pass her little test. 'Will you beg and grovel like an adoring puppy? Or do you know how to play it cool, be suave?' She wasn't positive on which she wanted, exactly, but she would decide as soon as he reacted. Wait, what the hell just happened? Did someone just flirt with the flirt? Was that even possible? Kenji didn't really know what to think. Kenji's green eyes followed the elegant female as she slowly walked away from him. Kenji took the bait without any hesitation. He couldn't let a girl like this just walk away from him. Kenji acted fast and reached out and grabbed the girl's hand; brining her to a stop. "Excuse me, but I can't let you leave. You haven't even told me your name," Kenji said with a smile stretched across his face.
The Charizard was amazed by all this. Didn't Kenji know when to give up? He didn't feel any pity for the boy at all; he never did. Charizard would just have to watch as Kenji does something stupid and ruins it all. They really needed to get to the town hall. The meeting was going to start any minute and Kenji was wasting time flirting with the women of Saffron City.

scuse this. no muse =P --- muse: don't trust me by 3OH!3 / hold on by the plain white t's. words: 473
I GOT THE BREATH OF A LAST CIGARETTE ON MY TEETH Something warm wrapped around one pale, manicured hand and a smirk caused the corners of her lips to curl deviously. 'Wrapped around my finger already, are you? The smirk faded as she turned her head to face him, a look of surprise crossing her face. Azami gave a small “oops” before adding quickly, “Excuse my terrible manners! I'm Azami Akiyama from Eterna City — my brother sent me here on the report that an attack was planned on the city.” And she leaned forward then, kissing him first on his left cheek and then on his right, before pulling away with a bashful smile. “That is how we greet each other in Eterna — I apologize if you happen to be offended by it.” Lies, both of them — Ryuu would never let her kiss another when he was around, nor would her father. They were disgusted by other human beings, finding them filthy — Azami found them to be something to play with before abruptly leaving them heartbroken. It was a cruel way of managing people, but others were so stubborn and conniving if they weren't in love with you. It was just easier acting like a whore.
Even after so little effort, he already seemed to like her — good news. That idiot Charizard might be a problem, for Azami often found that the Pokémon of the men she manipulated caught on to her scheming. It wasn't like she was killing anybody, but oh well... She would simply have to bring out her own Pokémon to keep tabs on that overgrown lizard — and, perhaps, help them find the hall.
She plucked a Pokéball out from the inside of her vest and freed the Pokémon within by tossing the capsule into the air. The beast that appeared was lithe and clearly built for speed, with long legs and a thin, streamline body. A pointed, cord-like tail swung back and for eagerly, while the dusky creature's lips constantly twitched with snarls and growls. It seemed clear that the ram-horned hound was anxious, for it soon began to pace back and forth, staring ominously at the strangers by its master. Ignoring the Houndoom's unease, Azami put the Pokéball back in its semi-hidden spot and turned to cheerily face the stranger once more. “This is Armageddon — Armi for short, though I don't think he'd like you calling him that. I think he might be able to lead us to the hall, as well as protect me — I'd feel guilty if you risked your life to save me or something.” With that, the fifteen-year-old turned back to face the hound, who took off towards the center of the town. Azami followed, jogging in this high-heels with little trouble, hoping her legs looked just as good as she thought they did with that miniskirt. [/blockquote]

muse: mellow mood by slightly stoopid // caress me down by sublime WRITE YOU LOVE LETTERS TILL MY PEN RUNS DRY The seventeen year old made a slight grin as he was kissed on both his cheeks. He'd been to Eterna before---that wasn't the way they greeted each other. "No, I'm not offended by it all," he replied before looking back at his Charizard to make sure he wouldn't fuck anything up; he was a cock-blocker. When the male turned back around he saw another figure standing next to the girl; a Houndoom. He eyed it down and gave it a small wave after he was introduced to the canine. He didn't want to end this day with a bite mark on his ass or anything so he will have to play it safe for now. Charizard saw the girl in different way than Kenji did. Charizard just didn't think it was logical for a female to walk up to Kenji; let alone give him a kiss or two. It was madness! "What the hell is she up to?" the Charizard thought to himself as he began to examine the dog that she had released. "Cute puppy," the Charizard said as he looked over Armageddon. He let out a low chuckle as he examined it. He didn't think it would last a minute in a head to head battle with him. Kenji began to ignore the lizard now. Charizard never seemed to help him at all; what a selfish bastard. The male's green eye's drifted back up to Azami's; she was walking away. "The center of the town would be a logical place to start looking for the hall," Kenji said once he had caught up to her. "Seems that we're here for the same reason," Kenji said as he desperately tried to start conversation with her. "I'm Kenji----from Viridian City," he said as he introduced himself. "This is Charizard," he said pointing at the giant, winged lizard behind him. "I chose the name myself," he said proudly.

sorry she's in an odd mood, but my heart came on and i got all sad. she'll be more flirtatious soon, i reckon. --- muse: mr. brightside by the killers / our lawyer... by fall out boy / my heart by paramore. --- words: 682
WE'RE ONLY LIARS BUT WE'RE THE BEST The stranger's reply was no surprise, for it wasn't often that one was kissed by a pretty girl. Regardless, she said nothing, still appearing bashful when she finally released her Pokémon. Before the beast ran off, there it snarled, baring a set of yellowed fangs for the Charizard to see. The beast's expression made voicing his thoughts unnecessary: 'Fuck off.' It was then that he took off, with Azami jogging behind him, tossing her long hair every now and then to look like something straight from Baywatch. (She, however, lacked a wondrous tan and a skanky, red swimsuit that better accentuated her bust.)
Her new 'friend' caught up to her quickly, seeming eager for conversation. Having captured her attention, Azami could only oblige, her look of innocence fading with the arrival of bemusement. For someone Ryuu-kun's age, he seemed a little... What was the appropriate word? 'Harebrained.' The thought caused her to grin, staring up at him impishly, glad he wasn't a mind reader. “I suppose it would. I trust Armi to find it for us; he has a knack for finding what I want.” She laughed then, eyes closing with mirth, trying to force away the bitter truth of those words. Hund. What he was trying to tell her was lost, for Azami had given up attempting to learn the language of Pokémon long ago. She did, however, read the way the canine's head tilted to the side in curiosity before it tensed anxiously, barking to scare off some strange being in the darkness. “Armi, no intruder would come here — they couldn't get past security. It's probably just Ryuu-kun... You're making a big mistake, you know.” But the growls did not stop and the thirteen-year-old soon found herself doubting her reasoning. Perhaps someone had gotten past security. And then she heard it, the serpentine hiss that sent chills down her spine like winter's touch. “Azaaaamiii-chaaan, guesssss whooo.” And, like a moth to a flame, she stepped away from the fountain in the rose garden to the surrounding forestry, eyes wide with wonder.
Her eyes flashed open with the end of the memory, so dark and desiring that it made her shudder. 'He could have taken me then. Would I... have liked that? Staying with him, becoming a monster?' She could not dwell on the matter with company, but promised herself to revisit it later, when she would be able to think and react without fearing what others might say. For now, she smiled, feigning benevolence while her mind churned with a violent tsunami of emotions. “Pleased to meet you, Kenji.” She should have added something more, she knew, but her heart was no longer in the game; she was only sticking with this idiot now to prevent herself from finding him and giving in.
Though feeling terribly lost amidst the bustling crowd, she managed to chuckle. It was not truly full-hearted, but it was not entirely fake, either. It had been a long while since she had been with someone as dorkish and moronic as this Kenji fellow. Most guys she manipulated were suave and debonair, the type of men that were typically the ones manipulating — oh how she loved turning the tables on them! Regardless, this was just as entertaining with her flighty companion blabbering on about things Azami found quite trivial. “Charizard is a nice name.” Another lie — why curse a creature to be ordinary? Ryuu had a Charizard names Kaji; it was a devilish beast, daring and rebellious. It might have been interesting if the two Charizards met, though Azami didn't think about that for long. Seeing Armi slip through a door to a near-by building, Azami followed, taking Kenji's hand in her own and dragging him inside to sit down on folding chair beside her. Her legs crossing, she stared up at the podium at the front of the room, waiting for some higher-up to give them some sort of battle plan. Until then, her mind wandered, sifting through topics of varying interest and varying pain levels, never focusing on one topic for long. [/blockquote]

muse: the joker by steve miller band // slide by goo goo dolls REALLY LOVE YOUR PEACHES, WANNA SHAKE YOUR TREE "Filthy dog," the lizard softly insulted the canine as it walked back toward its trainer. The creature let out a loud snort and began to follow the red headed male. He wanted to make sure nobody hurt him; that was his job. He narrowed his eyes in on the boy. The seventeen year old didn't know what he was getting himself into. The lizard's eyes shifted away from Kenji and onto a large building. They had reached the town hall. "Nice to meet you too," replied the male. Kenji turned around to make sure Charizard was following him. He noticed that he was looking at something, but he wasn't sure what it was. When Kenji turned around he spotted the town hall. He had finally reached his destination. "There's the town hall," Kenji's hand pointed toward a normal-sized building. It looked pretty lame; unclean. Kenji turned to his right to see Azami. "Shall we?" questioned the seventeen year old as he started toward the town hall door at a quick pace. Kenji's large companion started behind him, watching him very closely. The male grabbed the golden handle on the door and slowly opened it. As he opened it, he was swallowed in a pool of darkness. The lights seemed to have been off. "Hello?" the seventeen year old shouted inside as he held the door open with his right foot for the Azami and her Houndoom. There was no answer to Kenji's question. It seemed empty.

♥ --- muse: dirty little secret by the all-american rejects / iris by the goo goo dolls. --- words: 454
WHO HAS TO KNOW THE WAY SHE FEELS INSIDE? He seemed to be learning quickly, holding the door to the building open for her. Darkness stretched on before them, and Azami's thin brows furrowed at this. Her act was forgotten now that suspicion had arisen and she was as bold and as brazen as she had ever been. “What the hell?” It was not a rare occurrence for the Akiyama child to use such foul language when she wasn't acting, for her elder brother had taught her such words at a young age. Any who knew Azami well would not have been surprised at her sudden ferocity, for she was known to be a spitfire — few could tame her temper and her Houndoom seemed to mimic such animosity. His reaction was identical to her flashback, though he lacked curiosity. The smell was familiar and he knew exactly what lurked in the darkness of the building. Azami, however, did not.
Fury caused her to tremble and shake, her fists clenching with fury. Had they been fooled? Hoodwinked? “Is there anyone in there?” Her words were sharp and it seemed only obvious that Azami truly liked being in control, for it eliminated paranoia that could paralyze her. There was, of course, the armor that had been added to the clothing, though Azami found it hardly sufficient to protect against much. It seemed, however, that the being inside had no intentions of attacking quite yet. Instead, it seemed much more willing to converse.
“Azaaamiii-chaaan,” came the hiss, long and drawn out, taunting and mocking — daring her to step out of the light and into the darkness where he could make her his queen. Hadn't that been what she had always dreamed of? He remembered jesting talks of marriage from childhood, though he knew that she was partially telling the truth when she said she wanted to marry him. He wasn't so foolish as to believe that those dreams and fantasies had faded when he had left to become something so much stronger than her or her brother. 'I am invincible now.' Azami, however, didn't seem to appreciate the invincibility nor his surprise visit. How saddening.
She stood stock still, the rage dissipating from her expression, though she shook with a mixture of fading rage, mind-numbing sadness, body-paralyzing fear, and dizzying confusion. It was far too much for her to process, to much to take in at once. “Is this a dream?” Tears slowly teemed over her lower eyelid, rolling down her unblemished cheek like slow, feeble waterfalls. There was laughter from the room before her and Azami wanted nothing more than to run. However, her trembling made moving a chore, and she opted to stay put, waiting for a reasoning from the serpentine speaker. [/blockquote]

muse: older by slightly stoopid // sympathy by sublime STRANGER THAN YOUR SYMPATHY AND THIS IS MY APOLOGY Kenji hadn't expected that there was to be an ambush. The voice that had spoken in the dark room sounded very unfriendly. The male certainly didn't like it at all. He quickly jerked his head behind him to make everyone was still there. He noticed Azami starting to cry. Why was she crying? Kenji had no idea, but the point was that she was in tears. Kenji did what the only thing he could think of. The seventeen year pulled the girl in close as if that would make thing s any better. "Why are you crying, Azami?" he finally asked. He wiped a tear off her right cheek and waited for a reply. Charizard decided to take matters into his own hands....well claws. The lizard walked slowly toward the other double door. He opened it half way and then turned and looked behind him at the Houndoom. Didn't the dog want to go and find out what the hell was making his trainer cry? "Well, you coming to check it out?" he asked the canine and continued toward the entrance. Charizard open the door fully and walked inside. The lizard snorted before letting some flames spill out of his mouth and had a quick glimpse at the other person there. "Well, we are definitely not alone. Mind turning on the lights?" he asked the mysterious person in the darkness.

that song gives me some major muse. and i think i'm more like azami than i thought ♥ --- muse: sympathy by the goo goo dolls. --- words: 533 / 343
AND ALL THESE THOUGHTS YOU STOLE FROM ME All she knew was the world was spinning around her, blurred and hazy, and nausea was quickly overcoming her. Closeness was unfamiliar to her, but the strong arms wrapped around her thin frame were welcome and she quickly seemed to forget that they barely knew the man who held her close. As far as Azami was concerned, he was Ryuu — her mind found it much more pleasant to think her brother near, cradling her like a wailing babe, than to think a stranger held her so tenderly. It was wrong, being so close to a stranger, and her mother wouldn't have been pleased with this — she would surely have had a hissy-fit about how such a relationship would disgrace the family if it progressed any further. With the Akiyama family, greed was a dominant trait, though chivalry and nobility prevented them from becoming thieves.
Regardless, the words pulled her from her ideal that it was Ryuu, and she figured the story — the entire story — had best be told to clear confusion. The memories, however, were unwelcome. Once they had been sweet and she had remembered every moment with him with perfect clarity: remembered the way he'd gently hold her hand behind Ryuu-kun's back, his palms sweating anxiously; remembered the way he had leaned forward, smiling softly, and had first kissed her in a way that actually meant something to her; remembered the way he had asked her if she would marry him and gave him a cheap plastic ring, though they were only children. But now they were marred — her bias had made a complete one-eighty and he was nothing more than a demon in her eyes. 'But I still love him.' Not the current Seiji, but the one that she had known — the sweet, laughing, mischievous boy. Where had he gone? Had he left with her innocence? She would change back for him, if he truly wanted such a thing... If he would change back, then she would too. 'I would do anything for you, Seiji...'
The tears were back, coming more feverishly now. She did not want to tell him, for it was something she wanted to keep locked inside — to prevent him and everyone else from laughing at just how ridiculous she was for still loving him. Regardless, she knew she had to speak: it was only common courtesy. Her words were mumbled, muffled due to her face being pressed into his chest where his shirt was quickly growing damp from her tears. “Seiji's in there... He left me... He was good once and, and...” 'I was going to be his princess. We were going to live in a castle and have a ball, where he would sweep me off my feet and kiss me like he never had before...' “He left us. When he returned, he was a monster.” The sobs had faded and these words were a murmur, emotionless and hard. “He didn't want me anymore, not like he used to. Not like I wanted him...” And although she liked the closeness, she pulled away, feeling like a the first star to appear at night: alone and surrounded by sinister darkness. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Though the hound wanted nothing more than to dissect the Snake-Man alive, he was held back by his trainer's recollection. 'She would be devastated.' He had no choice in the matter — causing her pain was not an option. (Oddly enough, it seemed to be the same for his master's former love: he had grown silent with what Armageddon interpreted as dread.) “If you kill him or severely injure him, I will be forced to kill you.” It was not a lie — it would simply be the revenge that his master would want. Seiji was more important than almost anything to her — than her mother, her father... Only her brother came close to comparing to the love she felt for the damned traitor, which Armi was quite thankful for. Regardless of the sticky situation he was in, he decided that he had best at least turn on the lights — he would be able to watch that sneaky bastard with more ease. His tail flicked nonchalantly at the light switch, and light dominated. And there, standing in the very of the room, was Seiji.
The man was a monstrosity and appeared a good five years older than he truly was, fifteen. His skin was a stony gray, covered primarily by an ebony cloak. Demonic red eyes stared out from the shadows the hood he wore creature, his pupils slits of black while his serpentine eyes lacked any white as would have been normal for a human. Every so often, his tongue would flick out, tasting the air for anything particularly interesting, though his ominous glare was focused on the orange-haired twit who had so audaciously held his Azami. There was a serpentine his of warning, the blade-ended Seviper tail swishing back and forth eagerly.
“I thiiiiiink you should get awaaaay from her.” It was not a piece of friendly advice: it was a warning, so dominant and threatening that Azami blinked, surprised. He cared, but... That serpentine fury in his expression was not what she loved; that was long gone now. [/blockquote]

muse: fly by sugar ray ALL AROUND THE WORLD STATUES CRUMBLE FOR ME Kenji listened closely to the words that spilled out of the girl's mouth. He had to listen closely; he could barley hear her with her face shoved in his shirt. He wasn't to happy with the wet spot Azami had made, but he could manage. All that Kenji could make out was that she was talking about a former loved. Seiji was his name and apparently he was the man that was inside that building. Kenji rubbed the female's back as he tried to comfort her. He wasn't sure if it was working. He began to lean in closer to her, but he was forced to a halt when the voice rang out again. That voice...that wicked tone. It scared the shit out of Kenji. The man seemed to be angry at him. He just had to get stuck with the girl who has the psychotic ex-boyfriend; just his luck. Kenji slowly let go of the girl and walked closer toward Seiji.
"Or else what? You gonna' make one of your magical animals attack me?" he asked wearing a smirk on his face. That smirk usually was a sign he was going to get in trouble or do something idiotic in the near future. Kenji sized up the man; he didn't look too tough. However, nobody really looked tough to Kenji. He had a large ego at times. Kenji glares into the male that was adjacent to him. Kenji didn't fear him and neither did his overgrown lizard. Charizard listened closely to the girl. She had feelings for this man Seiji. That ruined all of Charizard's fun right there. He was really hoping to kill somebody today. Ah , well. Sometimes things don't turn out the way you planned them to. Charizard directed his attention at the Houndoom. The canine didn't seem too happy either, nor was he very fond of the fellow. Charizard finally looked over Seiji and simply smiled at him. When Charizard smiles it's fucking creepy. "You got lucky. You get to keep your life," the lizard simply stated and turned away from him. Some shit is totally about to go down~~

sorry for the quality & quantity. i have to be off soon, though, and that damn essay took my muse. >>; -twitch- plus, i fail when i don't have ff's word counter. ;-; --- muse: sympathy by the goo goo dolls. --- words: ???
I CUT MYSELF FROM THE INSIDE OUT He was going to die — it was plain and simple and obvious. The snake’s expression was nothing but friendly, with its lips pulling back to reveal red-tainted fangs that seemed eager to bite into the arrogant victim’s neck. Regardless of the snake’s desires, he was patient, taking his sweet time in attacking, keeping his dear Azami in his peripheral vision and carefully noting her reaction. He was obsessive when it came to her, far too possessive for anyone else’s good — when he was watching, she was sure to be mostly alone, for the thought of someone else claiming her was disgusting. This moron didn’t know her like he; no one but Ryuu or Azami herself knew her that well. This red-haired moron had no right to hold her and caress her back like her one true love. It was simply a load of bull shit.
Slowly, the scaled tail came forward, trying to be casually discreet as Seiji spoke, hoping to distract the fool long enough for him to trap him. ‘Strangle you, piece of filth!’ Regardless of his seething, Seiji’s expression had softened into a bemused smile, his forked tongue flickering out on occasion. “Nooo. Violenccce issss for barbarianssss. I’ll let yooouu off with a ssssimple waaarning: Azamiii issss mine.” A serpentine hiss ended his words and it seemed obvious by then that the warning was not simply verbal: it was physical. The black tail aimed to wrap around the man, though he certainly could have freed himself if he had suspected such treachery. If he was caught, then the strangling would have begun, Azami’s horrified expression ignored as the snake man focused on his foe. If it had not been clear, then he would make it clear: ‘Back off.’ [/blockquote]

muse: richman by 3oh!3 // what i got by sublime NEVER HAD TO BATTLE WITH NO BULLETPROOF VEST Kenji let out a little laugh as he heard the thing speak once more to him. He tried to hold in the laughter, but failed to do so. He looked over at Seiji and smirked at him. He knew being a smart ass once more to him meant that he probably will get killed, but that was a risk the male was willing to take. He never stopped having fun. "You talk funny, ya know?" he questioned him with a haughty attitude. Inside, Kenji knew that he probably couldn't take him. Death was that last thing on his mind, though. The main thing on his mind was....nothing. That was just a waste of space to make this reply look longer and stuff. Thanks for reading. Charizard listened in closely as his trainer began to mock the deadly opponent. He knew he would have to step in, but maybe it wouldn't be that bad. Kenji gone forever; sounded appealing. Charizard still had a small bit of care for the human, but that was very small. No, Charizard couldn't watch the boy die; he wouldn't want a single soul to see him actually shed a tear. The lizard watched on as he waited for the next move to be made. "As for Azami; I think she has a nice a---," the rest of Kenji's statement was cut off by the strength of Seiji's tail constricting his neck. He knew this might be the end, but he still had that damn smile on his face. Charizard's eyes widened as he watched his trainer get caught in a choke hold. He looked at the male and snorted. "I suggest you let go of him," the lizard simply said.

sorry for da wait, bestie </3 --- muse: sympathy by the goo goo dolls. --- words: 517
WHO THE HELL DID I THINK I WAS? It had been years since Azami had first decided that she would never let Seiji change her and her resolve had not faltered since. Like a diamond, she was firm and unchanging, unwilling to be swept off her feet and manipulated like some pitiful damsel. Despite the agony, the heart-wrenching pain of knowing that they were star-crossed lovers, she would not let the memory of what had once been cause her to follow him. He was a heinous villain now, dastardly and demonic, uncaring of who or what he killed to get what he wanted. If she were a sensible girl, she would have abandoned him years ago, would have given up all hope that he might eventually revert back to the charming Romeo she had fallen for... Now he was nothing more than King Midas, nothing but money on his mind. Greed had spoiled many men and her Seiji was certainly no exception — and she detested that fact.
The tail that strangled had never been there before he had disappeared, though the possessiveness had existed. While a part of her was flattered both at the redhead's words (a nice ass? how suave) and the way Seiji's eyes bulged at the comment, Azami found herself ultimately furious that they were brawling over her like she was some ornate trinket to be possessed. Any remaining tears were gone at the Charizard's words, her dark eyes staring mutely at the Kanto starter. Though she said nothing, it seemed obvious that was was thankful he could take control of the situation. However, missing out on a brawl was not in her nature and she was prepared to fight in an instant. It seemed only obvious that she wouldn't let her new friend die, even if it meant having to fight Seiji. She would not go against her morals to appease him, to gain his love and affection — even if it meant all of her childhood fantasies never coming true.
"Don't taaalk aboout Azamiiii-chaan that waaay." Seiji ignored the threat from the Charizard, his grip on his victim only seeming to tighten. Azami straightened at this and was quick to take a dagger from the inner confines of her vest, glaring at the two boys. "Seiji, if you kill him..." The threat faded, for she could not truly threaten him — it seemed like a sin. Regardless, the dagger was thrown towards the two, cutting through the air with deadly accuracy. However, with the two men so close, it was quite likely that she could have missed her mark and hit the man she was trying to save. Regardless, she was poised to fight, her glare not lessening even as Seiji leaped backwards, away from Kenji. The serpentine beast hissed, appearing edgy but ready to leave, which was not a good thing — as soon as he was alone, he would come up with a plan to get his revenge on that fool... 'Gouge those pretty little eyes out, wear them around my neck as prizes of my triumph... Make ornate weapons from those scrawny bones, damn their holiness...' [/blockquote]

muse: rock n roll by eric hutchinson // sly by the cat empire SHE GOT THAT SEX COFFEE BEAN, BUT SHE TASTES LIKE VANILLA His insides seem as if they were about to pop out. The feeling was beyond just painful; it was the closest to death you can get. Kenji's eyes began to slowly fall and close over his green eyes. It didn't look so good for him. His face began to change into the shade of blue. Was Kenji actually dying? It couldn't be. He slowly began to fade off with that same smile on his face. Kenji wasn't dead, was he? No, of course not. Not yet anyway. Kenji didn't even notice the dagger coming his way. Luckily, it went right passed his face and didn't touch him. (because hell hurts).
Charizard watched as his trainer started to look more and more lifeless. It was hard for him to watch. He came to the conclusion that Seiji wasn't going to answer his demands. Therefore, he would have to make sure Seiji understood him. The creature faced the boy; eye-to-eye. He began to build up energy. He was ready to lite the male on fire and turn him into a crisp, but instead he was cut off. The Charizard's eyes watched a small dagger coming straight toward his face. He quickly stopped his attack and hit the ground. The blade whizzed by over his head. "Holy shit! You trying to kill me, human?" he questioned the girl. He realized it had been an accident; the dagger was intended for Seiji. The lizard straightened himself back up and glared at the male. "Now, you're dead!" what he said probably wasn't true. The Charizard clenched his hand into a fist and aimed it straight at the boy's face. Flames began to build up on it; it was a Fire Punch. As I was saying: This punch probably wouldn't kill him, but it would leave a burn mark on the male's face that would hurt for a while.

TIME TO MAKE ONE LAST APPEAL FOR THE LIFE I LEAD Angry growls from Charizard, furious hisses from Seiji... They were loud when mixed with the stomp of Charizard moving and the sound of a blade being sharpened, but they all seemed pretty distant. Her dagger planted itself into a wall on the other end of the room, but her eyes had long since left it and Seiji and Charizard. A single color dominated her vision, was the sole reason she stumbled forward and fell to her knees, staring.
She had scene dead bodies before and they'd never looked quite this bad. Her entire body shook with fright, her small hands slowly — uneasily, fearfully — venturing to the left side of the male's chest, staring at the sickening bruises that Seiji had left. “What did he do to you? You... idiot....” Her eyes squeezed shut suddenly, her hands balling into fists around his shirt, tears slowly streaming down her face. 'Seiji... how could you?' Kenji had been foolish in picking a fight that he surely couldn't win, but Seiji... 'You were supposed to back down, brush it off... like you used to.'
Her eyes opened slowly, her grip on the shirt loosening. “We have to go... But where is safe in such a town? Oh anarchy..” And though she was petite, she slowly managed to pull the boy up, holding him loosely to avoid further hurting him. A sudden ahem alerted her of someone behind her and a familiar face stared down at her. “I will take care of this. Go to the Pokémon Center, it's safe. Katana will carry him.” With that said, the man turned to face Seiji, whose tail was burned from being hit. A Garchomp outside took Kenji and Armegeddon was returned while Azami mounted the steed, who flew to the town's Pokémon Center with ease, perhaps saving the man's life. (The man's Charizard was open to follow, though the beast wouldn't wait.) Ryuu remained with a Mightyena by his side, staring at the old comrade. And then, turning, he said, “I'm sending you to hell, where you won't be able to bother Azami-chan anymore. Good bye, Seiji.” He exited the building then, which crumbled behind him from a series of Hyper Beams from his faithful Mightyena, who was not far behind. [/blockquote]

muse: somewhere out there by our lady peace // days like these by the cat empire YOU'RE FALLING OUT OF REACH DEFYING GRAVITY "He needs more oxygen!" the pink-haired, young woman scurried around the small Pokemon Center. She was born to save lives; literally it was in her genes. That's what the Joys did, they saved lives; Pokemon and human. She enjoyed her job, but it became very hard sometimes; especially when the patient dies. That is the worst part of being a nurse. Nurse Joy waited for demands to be met. Chancey scurried toward the man who lay unconscious on small cot with an oxygen mask on. He was barely breathing. Nurse Joy had learned to not panic at times like these. She watched as Chancey gave the boy more oxygen. Nurse Joy was not going to lose this patient; she would prove to the rest of her sisters that she was as good as them at her job. Joy watched as the boy slowly came back to life. He was breathing much smoother than he had before. He was going to live. Kenji's eyes were drowsy; even though he had just been unconscious for hours. The seventeen year old's eyes slowly began to open. The first thing he laid his green eyes upon was the face of Azami. He, of course, liked what he saw, but was also surprised to see Charizard not looking at him like Azami was. He kind of felt insulted, but it was predictable. Of course Charizard didn't care about him, but he cared about him enough to try and save him from his death. A smile began to form across his face. "What's a beautiful thing like you looking at a half-dead guy like me?" Kenji smiled at her again as he slowly began to sit up. As his eyes began to wander to various places on the girl's body, he turned to his right to notice, the one and only, Charizard leaning up against the wall with his eyes closed. Kenji smirked again and watched as the lizard's eyes opened and looked over at him. "Thanks for coming," he said to the creature; who just nodded back at him. Inside, the lizard was immensely happy and filled with joy, but he never let those feelings surface. Nurse Joy and her egg-shaped assistant walked into the room to see the boy awake and well. She smiled at him. It was just another life saved. "You want a lollipop, little boy?" her smile seemed to never go away. Kenji almost took it as an insult, but just shook his head at her and watched her walk out of the room with Chancey. He turned to face Azami. "Thanks, by the way," Kenji said as he laid his head back against the pillow and folded his hand .
