Green eyes grew wide as the young blonde stood amid the seemingly crowded room. What had happened? Was she knocked out all this time? For some reason the memories of how or why she was even here hadn't come to mind. The female twitched for a moment, trying to maintain some composure as she mustered a reason for standing within this place. The orb strung around her throat shimmered, orange and red hues dancing in the small container.
"Eh.." She muttered softly, staring at the few faces and pokemon she could identify. Everything seemed like a blur. Two pokemon became one, faces were no longer faces but blobs against dull colors, and there were attacks being thrown from all directions. The calamity was too much for her feeble mind to retain all at once. Another twitch. She wasn't going insane was she? Psht, of course not. It was all in her head. Was it? A bead of sweat rolled down the side of her cheek, her face flushed with a pinkish hue. Either the concentration was driving her to an intolerable amount of stress, or she really had to pee. Either answer would be a reasonable assumption.
"STOP! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE."
Her voice seemed to echo, reverberating off the distant walls. The apparent chaos surrounding her was becoming too much. Anymore and her brain would eventually turn to moosh (not that it wasn't already close to that point anyway). Alexis then slowly slumped to the ground, white gown still drenched from previous attacks. Her head fell slowly into the palms of her hands, the sharp nails retracting and returning to a reasonable length.

Rose nearly jumped out of out of her skin when she heard Alexis cry out; with everything that was going on she had forgotten that the other Hero was there. With one last look at the battle in front of her she pulled herself away from the wall she had been leaning on and quickly made her way over to where the blonde girl sat. Squatting down so that her eyes would be level with the other girl Rose spoke. “It’s not a very good idea to just sit there; one of the attacks might miss its mark and hit you.” She said, adopting the tone one would use to calm a child. “Come on, let’s go wait over there,” she motioned to the place she had been standing behind Ryuu, “and wait for the Idiot to come save us.”
A poisoned Pokemon... His eyes narrowed slightly, left hand twitching for a Pokeball. Jerald had never mentioned about whether or not it was legal to throw in a substitute Pokemon, but Ryuu figured he'd give him a break. His Charizard would survive -- counting it out because of its ailment would be foolish, as would counting on the fact that Ryuu would be noble.
Silent as a statue, Ryuu observed the battle. His Pokemon needed no guidance from him -- without their loyalties and their civil demeanors (when he commanded), they were wild creatures. They didn't need him, but they wanted him. And as the battle progressed, Ryuu couldn't help but smirk. 'It seems he does better with longer battles... Well, if Kai exited... Ah, I suppose we'll see...'
His thoughts trailed off and his gaze flickered to the left, watching a blond girl with sudden intensity. "No." His words were spoken with finality, and his glittering eyes seemed to say what would happen if he argued. If she wanted to get in his way, fine -- she could die. His gaze flickered over to Rose for a moment, gaze becoming hard. "And here I thought you were more than a damsel in distress... It appears I over-estimated you, whore, but it won't happen again." His gaze lingered on her face for another moment, watching her expression, before turning back to the fight, just in time to see the next onslaught of attacks being carried out.
Another streak of orange could be seen, heading towards the Shuckle -- actually, no, multiple streaks. It appeared that the fire lizard had used a double team of its own, and the only difference between itself and the shuckle now was that it had an unavoidable attack.
And then there was the Kyogre, who was now surrounded by a thin ring of crystal-clear liquid. 'Aqua Ring...' thought the teen, chin raising slightly. If the scientist wanted a long battle, he would get one -- Kai was truly his powerhouse, in any case, even if her water moves weren't as effective against the Bronzong as fire moves would be. A moment later, a sudden realization hit the beast. Unavoidable attacks, that was the key for them. Their foe went for defense and evasion -- no matter, electricity was just as effective against the Bronzong as water was. It sent a Shockwave at both the Shuckle and the Bronzong -- they'd be sorry.
Why wasn't... Shizun... talking to him? He blinked in confusion before he felt the need to cry, a sinking depression washing over him. Blood Raven had got to the world now -- everyone was going to ignore him and he was going to die and he was never going to be avenge his brother's death. Not to mention... 'Nami.' He shuddered. He had tried not to think her name, but now... it felt like he was running out of time to think about her. Who knew, maybe he had finally lost it.
With a sigh, he tried again, brows furrowing. Ah, the stubborn-ness that ran through his family... "Lowest level of the islands? What, I'm right here! Shizun, do you need a hearing aid?" He paused, gritting his teeth. "Fine, we'll go to the islands and I'll show you that I was never in there!"
(I wouldn't say that. It's just my personality =P. Ask Phoenix, she knows. I feel quite happy today after pissing off my friend with my Shuckle/Bronzong combo.)
It was true that stalling the battle was something Jerald liked to do but only the two in front of him actually followed those guidelines. Seeing both the Shockwave and another Aerial Ace attack, evasion was negated. Either way, Shuckle's amazing defense and Bronzong already putting up both Iron Defense and Calm Mind makes them hard to take down. "Good...I like a good challenge." Jerald looked behind of Ryuu and noted that the two other Heroes had returned to reality. "How nice of you two to finally get up." Turning back to the battle he began to reform a plan. Bronzong could survive the attacks with the Leftovers but Shuckle's going to have a hard time to recover. Nevertheless, a plan formed. The Aerial Ace had knocked the Shuckle off the Bronzong's head, which had withdrawn into its shell. The Bronzong's eye glinted as a metal sphere of energy form at the mouth and fired at the Kyrogre, Gyro Ball. The Shuckle also popped out of its shell and released another Toxic over the same pokemon. All he needed was to stall a few turns...if the need became necessary, swapping out will work. Especially if the enemy does it, he could see it go through his mind.
The so called ‘whore’ sat there silently as Mr. Ego taunted her. Rose’s pride screamed at her to reply to say something back, but she bit down hard on her lower lip to keep from speaking. It isn’t worth it. She told herself. Don’t give him the pleasure of hearing you talk back. As much as you don’t want to admit it he’s right, you’re a damsel in distress and there’s a very thin chance Prince Charming is going to come rescue you. But despite all that, her pride took control. “Y quen dice que yo te estaba ablando a ti, cabron?”
ooc: Translation to my crappy Spanish spelling. "And who says I was talking to you, bastard?"
Which Pokemon he would take out first he didn't know.... Kyogre was useful because of its healing capabilities along with its hitpoints but its attacks weren't as effective against the Pokemon as Kaji's. "Hnnnn..." He paused, eyes suddenly brightening with interest. "It seems you're trying to back me into a corner..."'But you forget that the dragon is not all attack... its defensive and evasive capabilities are something to be weary about as well.'"But no matter, this battle will continue."
Without even flinching, the Kyogre closed its eyes. A crystal blue barrier (Protect) surrounded it from the on-coming attacks while it also used Calm Mind and a Double Team of its own. 'Stealing your strategy now, buddy...' With a small smirk, Ryuu cried out, "NOW!" Ryuu tossed up a berry to the dragon (who quickly ate the berry) and the poisoning was cured while the Kyogre also used Safeguard on the team. 'Hopefully we had the idiot fooled... I was hoping to see if he had a more interesting strategy.' He rolled his eyes. Charizard's loss of hitpoints was nothing too grave.
So now he'd taken his defensive manuevers. He paused, turning from the fight for just a moment to stare back at Rose. After a moment, he lifted his right arms; he made a fist but with one single finger sticking up rudely. "In case you didn't know, this translates to fuck off -- unless you'd like my knife to your throat, of course." He could just picture letting his Mightyena to tear her to shreds... He imagined it was probably hungry and it had always liked meat.... Ah well, he had other things to deal with.
He turned again, watching his Charizard unleash a Flamethrower on the Bronzong and his Kyogre zap the Shuckle and the Bronzong with Shockwave once more.

Jerald was impressed at how this kid was adapting quickly to the battle. It was going to be bothersome but it didn't matter to him, he was just wasting everyone's time until an event occurred..."Well...I'll have to try something else then." The Shuckle was once again hit with the Shockwave, having curled into its shell, it popped out and closed its eyes and fell asleep, restoring any damage done to it in the past five minutes. The Bronzong felt both the attacks collide and some of it slid off from the Calm Mind. Letting out one more Psychic on the Charizard, it was going to make sure that the fire pokemon fell with it.
A Psychic... Hnn. Ryuu hadn't been expecting anything on the offensive side for a while, but it didn't matter. His Charizard's hold item would finally be put to good use. Never forget hold items.
Before the Psychic could arrive, the Shed Shell was put to good use. Kaji disappeared into its Pokeball, only to be replaced with a snarling canine. The purple waves flickered around the snarling canine harmlessly, and it stood tall after that -- unscathed, a dark glitter in its golden eyes. With its wide array of attacks, the battle was as good as done. First, the beast sniffed about, memorizing the scent of each of its foes -- Odor Sleuth. No more trying to run. Then, for the defense... Frustration was used. And to deal with that foolish Bronzong? Embargo. Not, their one little defense was complete. Of course, their foe could only use attacks, but they could take care of themselves. The Mightyena's own leftovers would keep it going while the Kyogre's Aqua Ring had allowed it to remain at full health.
He wasn't toying with him anymore.
Fangs glowing red, fire dancing in its mouth, the Mightyena rushed towards the Bronzong with a Fire Fang. The Kyogre used Rain Dance and unleashed two unavoidable Thunder attacks -- one for the Bronzong and one for the Shuckle.
Finally. She could get her revenge. She could feel it coming, the end -- the end of what, though, she was unsure. The end of her misery? The end of Blood Raven? The end of her own life? The dragon grimaced at the last one, although her head tilted upwards a fraction -- optomistic arrogance was better than pessimistic misery, no?
'I will kill her... She tried to fool me, but Arceus... I was supposed to protect him and I failed.... I must make up for her.' Her goldenrod eyes darkened a fraction -- not cynical, just sly... witty. Her facade of false bravado was surprisingly believeable -- or maybe it just wasn't false. She flew forth, teeth clenched in determination -- clutching two Pokeballs like her life depended on it.
And then she saw her.
Unfamiliar rage built up inside of her, and without a word she released the Pokemon inside the two Pokeballs. Each appeared intently alert at first before one glance around the room gave them the news -- the kid had passed. And each face suddenly lit up with anger -- the Arcanine snarled, the Spheal gave a little roar-esque-thing (o0), and the Dragon's pupils narrowed. "Your crimes won't go unpunished -- I'll make sure of that," growled the orange canine, while Mystique had unleashed Shockwave on the stupid bird. Rolo used Rockslide, and Flame shot a Flamethrower at both the Articuno and its evil master.

"Fun..." He took out two pokeballs after his pokemon were hit with the attacks, though the two were very much still alive somehow and returned them. He was done testing the waters now, not in the literal sense with the rain. Two more broke out, a Smeargle and a Clefable. Nodding, he wasn't going to play around anymore. The Smeargle's eyes glinted as a sort of targeting system appeared from his eyes, Lock On. The Clefable went around with a sort of dance and at the end, flipped the enemy off with Follow Me. (XD)
||This post probably won’t make sense, but here it goessss.||
“You’re boring,” Shizun said to the priest before floating down to the bottom level of the floating islands. Its innocent face contorted into one of a being which had seen too much. Its beady eyes locked on the massive lotus of ice sitting in the middle of the room. If one looked close enough, through the dense material, they would see the shadow of a small body.
The Togekiss refused to believe it was Nick. Yet, its instincts tugged at it to do something. He nipped at one of the cold spikes, wincing at the sharpness. How’d he get stuck in there, anyway?
… what? The clash of battle caused Shinyuu to blink his chocolate eyes open. How in the world had he…? No matter. The teen shakily got to his feet. His gaze caught onto the battle only a few yards in front of him.
And the two girls along with them.
“Rose! Alexis!” the fatigued KnS leader shouted, cupping his hands around his mouth. (Well, he couldn’t do much right after waking up from some bad concussion >>)
Why, wasn’t this the surprise outcome? Blood Raven placed her elbow on an arm of the throne and her chin atop the attached open palm. “Articuno. Mind Reader.” The bird opted to hover toward the higher beams of the room, staring down at the three portions of the opposition. Using this attack, Articuno was able to ensure the next hit. Suddenly, a Sheer Cold was released upon the other Pokémon.
Cheap, yes, but the Elite wanted blood. Lots of it.

(Ok, I can stretch my mind that Shinyuu tagged along for the teleporting but where the hell is Blood Raven coming from if we're in a basement arena? There's a roof so there isn't any "Looking down". Unless the Articuno's in the cave and I'm missing somethin.
