I'm thinking of starting my own plot on the forum. I just wanted to hear what kinds of plots people would be interested in joining.
Genres I am comfortable creating plots for: Series Related and Crossover. Fantasy. University.
A plot that's been brewing in the back of my mind: The game master of a gaming group turns out to be a wizard from a fantasy world that operates under similar rules. He sends his players through once they've reached a certain point in the game to see if they can bring peace to his world. His world is bigger than the real world – in fact, it’s supposed to be infinite and still growing since it’s where the things humans imagine live. The characters fall from realm to realm, each one based on one of their own geekish hobbies.

I'm up for about anything. The less real it is, the better.
Not the first time I've heard this plot idea. It can be fun but I find it kind of chaotic, especially with how broad you're making "geekish hobbies". While I'll admit that would be fun, hammer out some more ground rules before people start breaking boundaries and make the rp fall apart. I would say tell what the characters are protecting the world from but I guess you're not there yet. If you want to have more fun breaking things, make as falling from each realm change things about each character, be they appearance or, if we're playing this like a game, equipment and skills. Only real backstory that would fit this would be a group of friends with some overlapping interests gathering to play a game and said wizard had been posing as one of them since forever the group has been together.
That's my two bits.

Thanks. Those are some helpful things to think about. It's not an original idea nor a very developed one yet but "Trapped In Another World" RPs have always appealed to me on some level.
