"I am an extremely," 'obsessively, meticulously' "neat eater," I murmured gently with a smile, my dark skin contrasting with the clean shine of the button. I folded my dark, delicate hands in my lap, facing the woman though my face was shrouded. "What, may I ask, is your name, Miss?" I smiled gently, politely, softly again. The silence was quite tense.

The woman’s reply- or lack thereof- annoyed Mierva, though she was careful to keep the emotion of her face, and forced herself to return the smile. It seemed that the conversation would only serve to deepen her distrust of the woman, especially with her next question.
“I was taught that it was impolite to ask a person’s name without giving your own first.” She said, gazing straight at were she thought the other woman’s eyes would be. “However, I suppose I should give my name regardless. I am Mierva Markie.”

"Pleased to meet you, Mierva. I am Kierta Raelin," I kept my smile steady, resisting the powerful, itching, overwhelming urge to turn my eyes back to the stairs. This tense atmosphere could almost spoil my appetite. No, no it could not.

DurbarrumThe old man chuckles. "Ohho! But you are no simple demon, I could sense your power the moment you came of age. I was just waiting for the appointed day to contact you." He turns around, walking into his shack. He walks over to a corner and gently runs his index finger over the wood. You see a small trail of light follow his fingertip as it traces the shape of small, vault like, door. Once complete, the wood within the area turns a milky white, and it seems as though a slight mist is pouring from the wood. The old man reaches in and withdraws a small satchel. It seems to be made of a fine silk and is covered with strange runes all around it.
He turns, a smile on his face. "Here," he says, holding out the satchel, "These belong to you now. Take a moment to glance over them, then sit down for dinner and I shall tell you more" Mierva & KiertaYou both hear the sounds of footsteps as the man walks back down the stairs. In his hands, he holds 2 small satchels, both look made of a fine silk and are embroidered with runes all around them. He makes his way over to the table and sits down on the opposite side of you both, placing the satchels in front of you. "These are gifts, rightfully yours, and will be needed for the coming tasks and trials. Please, look through their contents and then proceed to ask any questions you have." He says with a smile, forming his hands into a steeple in front of him. [whisper=thesaxybeast]Gonna test this with you. If you can see this, reply with a whisper (Sneasel icon) in your own post. If anyone else can see it, just say such.[/whisper]

My dark hand reached toward the lovely satchel as I smiled gently up to the man. "Thank you sir, they are quite lovely," 'exquisite, ornate' I smiled then slid my hands to drawstrings, opening the bag gently.
OOC: I can't think of much else. [whisper=emrys]OOC: Like this? o:[/whisper]

KiertaAs you reach into the bag, you feel your hand go past the where the bottom should be. The man sits there, smiling, as you reach further into the satchel. You feel your hand brush upon a few things. One item feels like a small pile of coins, another feels like a staff, and third feels like a small cross shaped pendant.
"They are called Bags of Holding. Each one is capable of holding one hundred pounds of items, and will only ever way one pound. The gifts inside are sorted to your needs. To draw something from the bag, simply will it and it will come to your hand the moment you reach inside."
Kierta gains the following items: * Bag of Holding! A bag that can hold up to 100 pounds!
* 100 Gold Pieces! Yay money!
* Staff of Healing! All healing spells cast while using this staff heal for 1.5x the amount!
* Cross Pendant! You don't know what this does, but you're sure its important!

Mierva was grateful when the man returned and ended their pathetic attempt at conversation, especially when her eyes settled on the two satchels in his hands. Both looked as if they cost a good deal, and since he was carrying two…
Her suspicions were confirmed the moment the man set one of the satchels in front of her, and she let herself smile as her hands touched the soft silk. For a moment, she simply admired her prize, only half listening to what the man was saying. It was only when the explanation had finally sunk in that she raised her gaze toward the man, eyes wide in surprise.
Slowly, her hands moved towards the top of the satchel and she delicately undid the drawstrings. A hand hovered over the opening for a moment, before she finally reached into the bag.

"A great potential huh...likely story." Taking the strange satchel in hand, I examine it carefully, looking over the runes and also checking the contents of the bag. Once that's done, I sit down at the table. "Lay it before me then...what's the ordeal."

OODM: Pardon me if some of this seems like copy pasta (if you read other peoples) First time with internet in a while and I'm just trying to push the post out. DurbarrumAs you reach into the bag, you feel your hand go past the where the bottom should be. The man sits there, smiling, as you reach further into the satchel. You feel your hand brush upon a few things. One item feels like a small pile of coins, another feels like a dagger, and third feels like a small round stone.
"They are called Bags of Holding. Each one is capable of holding one hundred pounds of items, and will only ever way one pound. The gifts inside are sorted to your needs. To draw something from the bag, simply will it and it will come to your hand the moment you reach inside."
Durbarrum gains the following items: * Bag of Holding! A bag that can hold up to 100 pounds!
* 100 Gold Pieces! Yay money!
* Dagger of Assassination! Deals an extra 2d10 damage when attack from behind the opponent! (Must be able to see both shoulder blade)
* Smooth Green Stone! It seems to glow with an eerie light, but your not sure what it does.
------
The old man looks at you calmly. "Have you heard of the Weapons of Legend?" MiervaAs you reach into the bag, you feel your hand go past the where the bottom should be. The man sits there, smiling, as you reach further into the satchel. You feel your hand brush upon a few things. One item feels like a small pile of coins, another feels like the handle of a rapier, and third feels like a small key of sorts.
Mierva gains the following items: * Bag of Holding! A bag that can hold up to 100 pounds!
* 100 Gold Pieces! Yay money!
* Rapier of the Thief King! While using this rapier, your chance to steal items from enemies is increased by 10%!
* Small Key! It seems to be a key for something, but you don't know what! Mierva & KiertaThe man smiles as you both appraise your gifts. Now, onto what we came here for, have either of you heard of the Weapons of Legend?"

"No not at all... though this is a lovely," 'fantastic, wonderful' "gift," I smiled gently, sliding the pendant into my hand. It was brilliant, as far as I felt. "I have not heard many tales of weapons, I'm afraid." There wasn't much else to say. I am a poor, peaceful recluse.

"That old legend of the King's weapons that many adventures have gone to hunt for and failed to find? What about it?" I answered while continuing to eat slowly, having a sneaking suspicion of what the answer will be.

'Yay, money!’ Is exactly what Mie thought when her hand grazed the pile of coins at the bottom of the bag. She then moved onto the next item, a grin sliding onto her face as she felt the rapier hilt. Satisfied with the contents of the bag, she withdrew her hand and pulled the drawstring closed.
“Thank you so much.” She told the man. She started to rise from the chair- she had gotten what she came for- when the storyteller spoke again, and his question surprised her enough that she fell back into her seat.
“Yes, I’ve heard of them. What of it?” She replied.
