There was a flurry of movement and sound as her eyes slightly narrowed, her arms -- now having curtains of azure and sky blue feathers -- wrapped around Blake, pressing his ear gently onto her chest to soothe him with her heartbeats. "Hush, it's alright."
A tiara of three blue feathers crowned the center of her forehead; as her eyes shifted to a glimmering aqua hue. Nami glanced towards Holly, who's eyes seemed to avert her father and seemed to gaze at the Sakurai residence intently -- hatred, sympathy, or guilt? Her chin bowed slightly as she closed her eyes in thought; the wise child losing herself in thought. Her father... she was to side with her father, right? Or were there not supposed to be sides? Her aquamarine eyes opened halfway again; a sudden breeze causing her to glance skywards -- but Holly made it to her trembling brother, kneeling. "Mom, I'll take care of Blakie." Nami sighed, looking downwards as Holly's gaze flickered to her father again. "...Alright." The mother murmured, gently nudging Blake to his sister. "...Nicholas." The older female stood graciously, voice soft as the mother took a step towards her enraged husband. "Nicholas?" She repeated, but in a more firm, calming tone. Her hands gently touched his shoulders, hoping he wouldn't result in slapping them away... She sent a quick glance to the others, before closing her eyes. {Hush -- quell your anger, my love.}

"I can see I'm still loved here..." Jerald said with a shrug as he shut his eyes. His left hand was removed from the pocket and he pulled out a small pendant, a black orb charm was at the end of the chain. Putting the pendant around his neck, his hand ran through his brown hair while letting a long stream of air escape his mouth. As his hand passed over, a pair of brown ears, Eevee ears, popped out from under the mass. Opening his silver eyes, the scientist turned to Nick. "We don't want to be starting another war now do we?"
(I need to get someone to punch Jerald. =/ I can introduce his family in this manner.)

Keep her head? Why, what a preposterous idea! Azami was the ruler of her own little Wonderland — she was the Queen of Hearts and that basically meant she was a dictator. What she wanted, she got (you could blame Ryuu for her attitude). Lucky for her sister, Akari wasn't really interested in some decapitated head. A challenging spar would be good enough.
The lithe girl stood with her back pressed against a large Oak, standing on a branch that would not be visible from Akemi's point of view. With her dark outfit she would be hard to see, even with her face tilted so one eye stared at her opponent, it would be hard to see her in the shadows, with her dark eyes and the majority of her dark bangs hiding her pale face. 'Gotcha.' In near silence, eight kunai were grabbed before being thrown with deadly aim into a diagonal line at her sister. Thanks to this little trick, it would be a chore to dodge — if Akemi stepped right she would get a few kunai to the legs (along with if she jumped) and ducking or going to the left would probably kill her with a mark to the neck or head.
Just because she was six didn't mean she wasn't a genious.
[DIVIDER HERE xP]
"WHAT THE HELL?" He swore around his own children, why bother to censor his language around these lame kids? The tall man was running forward, sapphire eyes narrowed in disgust. No longer did he hold onto Rain for now he was a fighter not some romantic hero. His right hand balled into a tight fist and even though his eyes were narrowed in such fury it was probably hard to see, he threw a right hook at the elderly man with accuracy gained from experience. 'No one endangers my family... What the hell was he thinking, Nick could cause a lot of damage!'

It wasn't really entirely Jerald's fault...ok maybe it was but really, he couldn't blame himself for that. "WHAT THE HELL?" Jerlad turned around soon enough to see Ryuu coming at him with a punch. Not like it really was going to deal any real damage anyways. The green eyed Eevee flicked her head to their direction. Without warning, a streak through the air placed her in-between Jerald and Ryuuu. Her body glowed white before the area filled with light. A loud "TING" was heard as the light cleared. Ryuu's fist had connected to a black metal arm guard. The Kanji for Love was scratched onto it. The arm guard was worn by a semi tall, only about a foot or less shorter then most of the group, female on the right side. (I forgot to mention that detail when I posted my intro.) Her left hand, or paw really, had hold of the side of Ryuu's fist, claws digging into the skin. The Eevee morph had a dark brown t-shirt and tan colored pants donned. Emerald green eyes narrowed at the human, "That's quite enough fighting." she said, her tail swishing from side to side. Jerald placed a hand over his eye and clasped his forehead. (Facepalmed) "Mera...was that really needed?" The scientist asked but the female didn't answer except let go of Ryuu's fist and stepped back. "Well...I guess I better introduce you all to my wife Mera...and my son Cyal." At the mention, the young Eevee also burst into the light shift. A normal human boy, wearing a tan shirt and black shorts, appeared. A black metal anklet was on his left leg, Freedom in Kanji was scratched onto it.

He was here; allowing her to lean on him. Letting her know he was there for her.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Instantly, her eyes shifted into a blood red color; gaining the look of an alerted cat. Her pupils -- only thin, black slits in the oblique sunlight -- growing smaller before expanding in width -- focused onto the sudden movement. Her hair was the odd shades again, half a vivid red hue while the other half was a snowy white. Two cat-like ears pressed against her skull, thin, delicate eyebrows furrowed in confusion and sudden rage. A tail bloomed from her hip, the ends spilling out visibly from the edge of her dress. As the female Eevee 'morph turned into a humanoid form, Rain's throat gave a warning growl, fingernails curling out into dangerous, razor-sharp claws. Anymore hostile moves to her husband -- even if he was 'invincible' and could fight back -- those actions would not be tolerated. Her eyes were locked onto those nails that threatened to bleed her husband's skin, studying for any movement, and she stepped forward towards them as she pulled away. Tilting her head back, Rain's eyes narrowed in a slightly scrutinizing way. "...Hello," She admitted quite later, eyes sliding to the Eevee's boy. Her eyes weren't cold; yet they were not welcoming and gentle. The Zangoose Poke'morph then glanced towards the directions of her daughters, eyes narrowing. {Come.}--- Akemi's pools of cerulean and maroon shot open; guard entirely forgotten as she reeled away in alarm; a merciless kunai slicing her cheek. Usually, she'd be able to get out of this without much of a scratch -- maybe a bruise here and there... Her ankle received a scratch as well, and here she leaped -- for her nose to be almost lopped off. Blinking with wide eyes, she swiftly -- with slight troubles -- blocked three; leaped in the air for one -- barely missed two that tacked onto the ground -- and the last was knocked away with a special wind that was caused by her swinging the sword fast enough -- and a heck of an amount of concentration. Akemi here flipped a few ways back, cheek growing numb. Their mother had just called. And it wasn't the usual gentle, calm, relaxed one -- this was was... Serious, she guessed? Growing suspicious of the woods(besides her own twin tucked in the shadows of them; Akemi let go of her sword's hilt; the sharp blade easily piercing the ground to show a 'pause in the training' or 'temporary loss' sign. Her face was uneasy as she gazed towards the small frame of their mother -- in half-Zangoose form, too -- and she plucked her sword from the ground, returning her treasured weapon into it's sheath. Akemi glanced slightly back towards the trees, but her intelligent twin would know what to do.

“WHAT THE HELL?” Rose stopped as she heard Ryuu curse, eyes shifting from her children to the scene in front of her. …I thought we all agreed we didn’t want to start another war. Rose thought as she saw Ryuu try to punch Jerald, try being the key word. The women blinked a few time just in case her eyes were playing trick on her. No they weren’t, the Eevee really had turned into a human. Now Jerald was talking, and the other Eevee turned into a human as well. “Aww… now that means I won’t be able to catch it.” Luz mumbled, and Rose resisted the urge to giggle. “So you did marry a pokemon.” The women commented taking a step closer.

Two wounds. 'A mere two wounds...' Her sister was no fool; she was skilled. And that was just too much for Akari; it infuriated her. What if her sister became a better fighter than her? 'No, how silly!' No one who didn't stick to the shadows and used close combat was a fool. 'Archery' (or Akari's version of it) was the way to go. The only downside to this was that she was running low on ammo. It was a good thing she had Pokemon if things got too rough. Just when she was about to throw another two kunai at her injured sister, the venomous call rang out in her mind.
If Akari had been a stupid little girl, maybe she would have foolishly ran off to find her mother. But, no. She was stubborn (annoyingly so) and stood tall, merely watching her sister from the shadows. When the sword dropped, Akari followed, leaping out of the tree with a grace that seemed almost unnatural before retrieving her kunai in silence, muscles tensed as if to say, 'Attack me, sister, and you WILL be sorry.' She was always like that, keeping her guard up; a good thing too, for she would need it for the events to come....
Once all kunai were retrieved, the girl glanced at her sister. With a small nod and eight kunai in hand again (each wiped of any blood they had just acquired), she began running forward, keeping to the shadows..

Dr. Jeckyll had left the building and Mr. Hyde seemed to come out in a glorious fit of fury.
The hero was no longer such, with that depressed smile. Now he was so sinister, smiling in a wolfish way — a way that seemed to say, 'You're my prey; I'm going to kill you and smile while I spill your blood.' It was a hungry look, filled with some craving — a craving for revenge, perhaps, as he licked his thin tongue over leathery black lips. There was something almost mystifying about him, in all his fury; something amazing about how innocence and depression could vanish with one malevolent grin.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," crooned the beast within, new vocal chords creating a deeper, richer sound with a slight rumble to it. His tones were almost inviting, like the Walrus welcoming the oysters to dinner in the story "The Walrus and The Carpenter." A low growling echoed through his chest like the magnificent roar of a lion ready to pounce.

"You've screwed yourself over, you dumb bastard." The words were amused and Ryuu stepped thoughtlessly to the side, guarding his daughters from getting too close. Akari stared silently at the child with the blank anklet, appearing puzzled before her gaze flickered to her uncle. 'He has...' Gently, she nudged her father on the shoulder. "Dad, should I...?" "Not now. Wait a bit to use those..." Azami nodded, falling silent; watching apathetically as her uncle leapt and a shuddered. Now that stupid scientist had an Arcanine ready to rip his throat out... If Azami wasn't so amazed that her scrawny uncle really had so much power in him, maybe she would have bothered to ask why he was so angry.

“So you did marry a pokemon.” The words seemed funny to him. It really was kind of strange if you thought about it. "I guess you caught me there, but you're really half right..." He didn't classify morphs as "Pokemon" even though Mera wasn't truly one. Maybe he'd tell everyone the story later. His train of thought was broken as he heard the growl from Nick. Apparently, the Hero was suffering from a DNA rush, that's what the scientist called the thing anyways. If things did go on like this, a LOT more permanent damage will be caused. The hand that held the gas mask flicked open the oxygen tank valve thingy near the mouth of the mask. Three syringes filled with a substance sat inside the little compartment. He snagged one from there and let the mask drop to the floor. Before the mask hit the floor, the scientist had rushed Nick. Moving faster then Nick could react, the scientist appeared behind the Hero and jabbed the syringe into the Archanine morph's neck. After draining the needle, the scientist pulled away closer to the wall of the house and, with his back turned to the crowd, crushed the syringe in his hands. His hand was bleeding from the shards but he took no notice. "Seems like you didn't take the stabilizer fifteen years ago..." The scientist said turning his head back to Nick, his face had returned to the familiar Eevee morph. (Jerald's reference is that after the Wars, Jerald left vials to stabilize DNA collapse for all the morphs in the YnK. Whether they took them or not is really up to the person. This includes all morphs, not just the ones Jerald infused.) Mera and Cyal had stepped back from the group as to not to get in Jerald's way.
Tyreal listened to the passing conversations before his mind slipped into deep thought. The pokeball headpiece made a slight glow, Azure took note of that detail but said nothing. The priest had often done this before and mostly it was that he was speaking to someone. True enough, Tyreal was speaking to someone, or something really. (Italics will mention the thoughts.) He was in an empty white room. No doors, windows, or any means of escape was seen. It wasn't long before a sphere of light entered the room. "Hello Tyreal...it has been quite a while since we last spoke..." the sphere of light said, having a feminine voice. Tyreal relaxed as he recognized what it was. "Ah...it's you. Yes it has been a long time..." The priest answered, recalling his last conversation with the Light after the war had ended. "Why have you decided to come back?" the priest asked as the Light simply floated around the room. "I am simply here to tell that the balance is near normal. However..." The Light's voice trailed off and before the priest could ask, she continued. "...There is a major calamity that's about to happen. I do not know when but it happens upon this day. It is easily avoidable but if it occurs, it will be as bad...no. It will be WORSE then the Chaos Wars." The priest said nothing as he took this in. Worse then the Chaos Wars? That seemed quite impossible. The Light simply circled once more before starting to fade away. Tyreal returned back to reality but said nothing to anyone except that his train of thought was broken when he heard shouting and the sound of movement. When he looked up, Jerald had already crushed the syringe after injecting Nick with the stabilizer. Quietly, the priest pointed his staff sideways to act as a separator that, more or less, divided the group in half. "Stop! We don't want to start another conflict." The priest's voice was calm but it had the sense of authority to it.

Her eyes briefly met her own sisters', before checking that her sword was securely strapped to her side. Akemi then ran forward as well, eyes solemn as she glanced upwards, left, right...
No suspicious movements -- it was amazing how such a young pair could tell any at such speed -- no suspicious sounds.
Even if she wasn't one-hundred-percent stealthy; she was still highly alert and sensitive. The back of one of her hands brushed the slowly spilling blood from her cheek; drops tainting the grass below. The lean; yet young girl skidded to a stop at the scene; letting her sister go to their father's side, but she first analyzed the scene.
... Quite a battle, Akemi admitted, an amused look making her eyes blink a few times, before twinkling with slight excitement. Suddenly sliding into her rightful spot in the little 'group' of her family -- next to her identical sister -- Akemi casually rest a hand on her swords' hilt, as if showing a sign of 'don't attack us -- you'll highly regret it' message. She had her father's traits; and her mother's traits -- most likely why she had a soft heart at times. At times, Akemi yearned to learn the cause of the effect.
Her father was invincible. Her mother was exquisite; yet known as an 'agile demon'. The twins ... well, they were just plainly bad ass. [ ;D <333 ]
---
The mother's gaze was stern, frowning at the cut at one of her daughter's cheek -- but knew she must've thrown them off. Sighing, she gazed up -- only to be horrified at the syringe injected into her sister's husband. Her eyes widened, trembling -- here, Akemi's eyes widened a fraction in alarm. Those syringes...
Syringes brought those horrible times back in her head.
The times she was abused, passed about, dunked into liquid, tested. Treated like a foreign beast. Breathing quickening, Rain shook her head slowly. {...What.. what is that?} She hoarsely whispered in her husband's mind, stepping back in fear now. Her body shrunk and reformed into a large Zangoose, crimson eyes filled with anger and fear. Claws sinking into the ground, Rain dragged her form backwards -- away from the scent of foreign liquid substance.
---
"NICHOLAS!"
The Zangoose's head whipped to the side to see her sister rush by, eyes widened -- hollow -- as the Articuno 'morph knelt by the Arcanine without fear, murmuring low, soothing words as she wrapped her arms around his neck, tears threatening to fall -- but she was frightened as well...
If that had an effect on Nick; a Poke'Morph, it'd endanger herself, her sister... Whatever the hell it was. Grip slightly trembling, Nami raised glaring blue eyes warningly to the scientist with the crushed bits of glass embedded within his skin. "What did you /do/ to him?!" Nami seethed, the air temperature dropping immediately. --- A sudden course of cold winds ruffled her smooth white and red coat, but the Zangoose's heart was pounding. Akemi turned halfway towards her mother; just in case she lost it or something... but the Zangoose was entranced in the vials. What was in it? What would it do? Was it Chaos? So many questions, yet there were also so many possibilities...

“This has gone on long enough,” Naiomi said to no one in particular. She glanced to a bow and a quiver hanging off of the small fence next to her. Without another thought, she reached into the bag and donned a three-fingered glove. Naiomi reached over and positioned her yumi’s bottom portion at her waist. Her eyes narrowed at the bickering groups as she prepared her first arrow. She allowed that one to fly between the Eevee family and the green-haired-man’s family. Another barely missed the Arcanine’s nose.
“We’d all appreciate it if you stopped the useless bickering.” The thirteen-year-old lowered the yumi before looking at all of the people. They weren’t that bad if they were quiet… “You’re all here because of Keiichi-sama, correct? Then you’ve come to the right place. The Sakurai family hopes you all got here without much trouble in such short notice.” It was odd for the girl to call her father by his first name, but if she said Otou-san, they probably wouldn’t make the connection too quick. (At least some of them, as stated by her father.)

What was going on? The current commotion was flashing before Alexis is what seemed to be a blur. So many things were happening at once her feeble mind couldn't retain it all. She blinked several times before regaining some sort of composure, figuring the situation was nothing she wanted to be involved in. She stepped back, yellow dress billowing against the wind as she returned to Rai's side.
Maya blinked, slowly stepping back like her mother. Her expression was enough to tell that the young girl was confused beyond all means.
"Eh..." She muttered, quickly stepping behind Charizard. The over-sized lizard gave a huff, the girl hiding behind him a familiar thing.
"Umm, well whatever is goin on...I got pokemon so don't mess with me!"She hollered from the protection of the giant fire-type. She wasn't truly scared. Just a tad frightned, but with enough spunk to put up a fight if she needed too.

"Calm yourself Nami, all it is is just something to calm him down." Jerald said, walking over and picked up his gas mask. The other vials were still in their little compartment as he closed the tank. He didn't feel like going into detail of how that rage would affect the body. As if reading Rain's mind, he turned to her and spoke again. "It's not Chaos, that was destroyed long ago. I'm not going to turn him into anything more then he is right now, I'm done with that." Once again, he didn't tell all the details but everything he said was all they really needed to hear as it was the basis of truth. Mera seemed to make a sigh of relief as she returned to her full Eevee form and quietly hopped onto Jerald's shoulder. Cyal remained where he was still in human form. It wasn't long before an arrow came from outside the group between them. Turning, the scientist saw Naiomi armed with her bow. Before he could comment, Tyreal stepped in-between the two and answered for them. "Yes we are, and there will be no more further problems from now on..." The priest said, casting a look at everyone. Azure looked at the priest with a questionable look but said nothing. It wasn't that she didn't believe him, she knew that he was hiding something. Jerald sighed and leapt up to the roof, grabbing the ledge and hauling himself up. Mera hopped off his shoulder and settled down on the tiled roofing. Sitting with his legs dangling off the side, the scientist looked down, still clutching his gas mask. There was one more thing that happened. The ground under Alexis and her family, a circle really, sank down about an inch before it collapsed into a small pit. (XD XD XD XD XD)

Maya turned to look at the people around, her hands gripping Charizard's fiery tail. Suddenly the ground seemed to shake. Rocks tumbled by as the foundation beneath them split, caving into a pit.
"GAH?! WHATS HAPPENING?!!!" Maya screeched, her fingers digging into Charizard's side as they fell into the pit. The fire-type clenched, bad memories resurfacing. One would think a strong pokemon like himself could handle himself in this situation...right? Wrong. The sissy let out a cry of astonishment, tossing and turning as he fell head first into the dirt. Maya continued to scream, even after the fall had ceased and she was safe at the bottom. Instinct tempted her hand to reach to her belt, tossing the first pokeball available. The ball flew upward, springing open to reveal a small pink coral like pokemon.
"Corsola!" It chirped, staring at its trainer within the pit.
"Oh dear, god..." Alexis sobbed before finally screaming as she fell, tagging Rai along with her. The pair fell, landing on Charizard's giant belly. The pokemon groaned from the weight, continuing to sob.

The twins stared wide-eyed at the scene before them, both children wondering what the hell was going on. A look toward their mother revealed that the woman was smiling. “Just like old times.” She whispered, and despite themselves both children gaped. “You mean that stuff like that-" Luz pointed toward the group as Rain transformed. “Used to happen all the time?!” Hikaru finished for her. Rose nodded in reply since she didn’t trust what would happen if she opened her mouth. ~That and a lot more.~ Kitty replied for her trainer, causing the twins to gap openly. The children opened their mouths when an arrow flew out of what seemed to be nowhere and landed on the ground. Rose gave a sigh and began to usher her children toward the Sakurai house before they had a chance to ask her questions, then she heard Maya cry out. The woman stood there for a second, blinking in astonishment, then both hands flew up toward her mouth as she began to laugh. Just like old times. She thought. Just like old times…

Jerald's words were falling on deaf ears. All she could hear was the growl that passed her "master's" lips before it began decrescendo and then finally the man was silent. It was once his lips finally closed, the vibrant fur that coated his back receding, that the light purple glow surrounded her, golden eyes narrowed to look up at the scientist.
"I don't care what your excuse is. If you harm him in any way, shape, or form, you will not just have Articuno to deal with but myself and Daisuke." There was a cutting edge to her voice, tone making her seem like some royal queen; if he argued he could have fun being the Headless Horseman or something for all she cared, it just wouldn't end well for the scientist. "Your foolish parlor tricks won't help you then." The purple energy shot towards Nicholas's back before rising, a few shards of glass caught in the purple energy. A moment passed with the Latias simply staring at the old bastard before the shards veered to the left, speeding towards a tree before stopping. At the point of impact, the glass had remained solid, lodging itself a few inches into the hard wood. "Understand?" "Mind your own business, you little spawn of Satan and his wife. No one cares about you." It was arrogant and not true, for Akari was now glaring at the older girl. A new rival? A princess versus some evil brat? The age difference didn't matter: good always triumphed over evil. "The Eon twins and the Queen of Ice won't be the only legends you'll have to face if you anger my family." He paused and glanced behind his shoulder. "Akari, help Clueless and her family." His daugher nodded before tossing out a Pokeball. A large Xatu appeared, hovering in the air silently, simply staring out into space for a moment. "Shourai, use Psychic to get them outta there!" The bird obliged....[/blockquote]

+ -ROFLS AT RYUU- +
---
The Zangoose was in half-human form again, before her head snapped towards the children of Rose pointed at her. Snorting, she silently withdrew her ears and tail -- and lost half of the harsh coldness in her now green eyes. Rain's gaze flickered back to her family, before focusing onto the girl who shot the arrows.
Some kind of a welcoming. One eyebrow raised at the rumble of the ground collapsing; but her eyes never strayed from the mysterious daughter of the two who owned the Sakurai Residence. The lithe female sighed at her husband's response -- same old Ryuu -- and gently put a hand over her forehead. The small shik of a sword blade being pushed out with a thumb made it to the mother's ears, eyes half-way opening to glance at her daughter who used a sword. Akemi's stare bore into Naiomi, but her thumb that was supporting the barely shown blade gave out, the sword enclosing fully now that Akemi knew she wouldn't ... probably... do something drastic. "I hope not."
She muttered. Her attention was brought back to her family as she glanced towards her father, letting him know if anything was to be done, before blinking curiously at the caved-in ground. --- Her blue gaze was worried as her husband was placed onto Mystique's back, but grew reassured -- the Eon Pokemon knew Nicholas better. Her gaze was suspicious of Jerald as she threw a glance towards him, clearly not smiling. "The consequences will be heavy if you oblige to make a /single/ wrong move."

Jerald snorted but nodded to the Eon pokemon. He had his fun, no need to get excited. One glance at the priest told him to stop. In truth, Tyreal was on the brink of using Order to restrain everyone just to have peace. Several passer-bys have started to look at the group and that was going to cause problems with them getting kicked out of Pallet. "Fine fine...but nothing is wrong with Nick..." he said, taking note that the Hero was waking up. Quietly, he unlocked the gas tank to reveal the vials. One was the same color as the stabilizer that the scientist gave to Nick. The other was a swirl of colors. It was difficult to determine what color it really was since as soon as one figured out the color, it changed. Jerald spun the vial around in his fingers, saying nothing until Nick was awake enough to hear straight. Mera had settled down on the tile and was quietly napping, being warmed from the sun. "Nick...Rose...Alexis...do you remember those years ago when you asked if I had a reverse serum for your pokemon infusion?" The question wasn't really directed at either hero but to everyone.

Naiomi shook her head from side to side and took a deep breath. No wonder why father hated this man so much. Amber irises locked onto Ryuu’s form. “I don’t appreciate being called that when you barely know me. What if my father was once ‘evil’? I’d ask you to spell out the word ‘reformation’ if I didn’t have any respect for you,” the teenager explained without her voice wavering. She absolutely hated having to stand up to adults; they usually won anyway. Usually there wasn’t any point, but Naiomi thought that this Ryuu person was a special case. “Once people start fighting in front of me when my parents asked them to be here… Then it becomes my problem too, as my mother and father aren’t in the best condition right now. I’d rather not get any angrier than I already am today.” And what was this all about a reverse serum and such? Naiomi was still quite confused with what was happening with this Jerald person. (At least that was who she assumed this was.) Pokémorphs? Perhaps there /were/ some others here who had creatures’ blood coinciding with their own. The girl knew Nicholas had some. If not for the Arcanine, the two would have been all but murdered all those years ago. Speaking of her uncle… With the yumi still close by in case of another emergency, the Sakurai daughter prudently walked over to Nicholas and his family. He was the only one who Naiomi knew, and his current condition looked all but dandy. Even though the air was cold and threats were exchanged, Naiomi was resolute in her decision. She knelt next to his figure, eyes locked on his form. “I’m sorry I almost hit you there, uncle. I didn’t mean for the arrow to fly so close.” Whether Nick would hear her, she didn’t know. “Please, calm down? You’re scaring more people than just me.”
