After a pause, he spoke again "are you two by chance after the orb?"

"Okee Dokee Smokie Wokie!" Libria chimed, stepping out from behind Felienne and regarding the new-comer with a measure of curiosity... Her usual tactic was to glomp them and see how they'd react.
Somehow her brain told her BAD LIBBY, BAD.
"Sorry for not being Briali, su!"
Felienne snorted, "Oh, you don't think us worthy of your name yet you believe yourself privvy to what could be private information?"

Riku blinked at Libria..Why would this girl apologise? She didn't do anything wrong "no need to say sorry...Not your fault" he smiled softly before turning his head to look at Felienne "look, I was merely trying to make conversation but if you feel the need to act all high and mighty then go ahead and follow the rest of the sheep and try and find that orb" he shrugged "I honestly don't care...I don't know you well enough to care" though he was still sure that that pink haired girl was his Briali...The resemblance was just...Too uncanny "are you sure you're not Briali...?" he asked, one final time.

Zan had lost track of those he was following but at least he found his way to Geokran. Touching ground at least, the boy took a deep breath as he rested himself. He didn't dwell on relaxing just yet, the hard part was yet to come. Sliding the bow out of its tube, he strung it and placed it over his shoulder again. Looking back, he wondered where that demon person had disappeared. Shaking his head, he stood and walked through the city gates before slipping in-between the buildings. Better that any others after the orb would not see him.
(Quick question, is the orb...like just sitting there, ready to be taken or will there be a lot of talking to the caretakers and such before getting it?)

Libria's eyes half-closed, "Suuuu!" she frowned, "I knows my namey-wamey, su?" she tried, confused by his questions.
"Sheep!?!?!?" Felienne repeated, "I object to that insult-"
"Don't you want the orbsies, su?" Libria asked Riku, tilting her head, "We does... Why would that makes us sheepsies, su?"

Mara giggled as she ran among the trees, before darting up one and sitting on a top-most branch. "Silly willy Kitani!" She called down to her familiar of sorts. Kitani cocked her head to the side and placed her front paws on the trunk of the tree and whined pitiously. "I almost forgot you can't climb!"

Riku pondered on that question for a moment "well...Who wouldn't want the orbs? Anyone who manages to get them all would be granted anything he or she desires...Anything at all" he seemed to drift off for a moment "but to answer your question...Simple. Everyone rushes off to find this elusive orb and you two follow, no doubt with a hair-brained scheme to go along with it, expecting to take it for yourself and leave everyone else behind...Instead, you shall all run head-long into each other and a massive brawl will ensue until one sneaky person pilfers the precious orb..." he glanced at Libria...She was so damn cute xD

Libria caught his eye at the same time before looking down and examining a gloved hand like it was most the most interesting piece of clothing she had ever worn. Her eyes half-closed at his words.
"Well we would have got there first if you hadn't distracted us!" Felienne muttered darkly, but she saw his point. Libria yawned softly. "Libria!"
"Scuuuseeyy, su!"
"Tch." Felienne started winding a finger around one of her curls in thought. "It wasn't HARE-BRAINED".
"Bunny brained, su?" Libria tried.
"No. Our plan was acceptable", Felienne decided.
Libria shook her hair a little and tugged at her hood impatiently as Felienne looked thoughtful. "I assume, along with your constant quips at our idiocy, you have an alternate plan?" Felienne challenged.
Completely bored, and hungry, Libria took a carrot out of her pocket and started nibbling.

Riku blinked at Libria...She looked like a rabbit...And ate like a rabbit too? As adorable as she was being...That didn't sound like Briali xD She'd always loved the wildlife but...This was a /tad/ too far. "Well no I hadn't had a plan...Unless you call going back home, putting your feet up and eating dinner a plan then...No" he shrugged "of course...We could always call a temporary truce and assist each other in our own seperate goals thus making the entire ordeal a little easier" he then came up for air xD "just a suggestion"

"SU! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!" Libria glomped him in erm... 'Thanks', the carrot discarded. Felienne raised her eyebrows.
She'd tried to stop Libria eating raw carrots but the girl insisted it was a good idea, and Felienne HAD to admit that the girl had good night-sight.
But really, she'd never been so... Cute til about 2 years ago... Felienne didn't know what changed. But with it Libria had gotten smarter, obedient, happy and much better with people, tolerant even.
Felienne would deal with the rabbit-ism... It was probably a phase anyway.
Normal teenagers had those, didn't they?
Felienne didn't.
But then, Felienne wasn't normal.
"We can come uppy with a goody-good planny-wan, and we's can excutey it, and all will okie-dokie!" Libria declared, smiling.
"Libria, off the poor guy".
"ROGER-DOGDER!" Libria bounced up and looked at the home of the Earth orb, stretching into the air a little and spinning around, her cloak twisting awkwardly around her.
"Excuse me, don't you think it's MY decision whether he comes with us or not?" Felienne asked, a little annoyed at her slaves' assumptions. Libria pouted, bouncing over and clasping Felienne's hands in her own,
"But... But... Mistress! All helpy-welpy is goodie-good, su?"
"I don't like him". Plain and simple.
"But I /DOES/, su!" Libria protested. "Pweezy pweeze? He be helpful and useful and lotsa 'ful'!"
"Wonderful?" Felienne prompted, amused.
"YEPPY YEP", Libria nodded fervently. "Give him a chancy wancy, su!!!"
"...Very well", Felienne sighed.
Well, Libria was generally a better judge of character... But why couldn't Felienne shake this feeling that this guy would only bring problems to Libria, who liked him so much?
Well... Not like.
She just acted the way she did with everyone.
He was just less dismissing of her, is all. |

Mara giggled as she leaped easily out of the tree, hitting the ground with an audible thump. She shook her head and Kitani ran up to her, placing her front paws on her waist and licking her hand. "Kitaniiiiii. I just took a bath!" She laughed, patting the dog on the head and scratching behind a black ear.
"Yip yip!" She called, patting her side lightly. "Come'on Kitani, let's go find that orb!" She grinned and bent down, hugging the dog around the neck. Standing up, she sent a mental touch toward Maraia. "You coming, silly billy?"

Riku blinked at the glomping and awkwardly reached out to pat Libria on the head and ruffle her hair "see? Someone likes me" he smirked at Felienne "might I suggest that whilst I'll be spending some time with you, you try and co-exist with me" that was entirely aimed at Felienne "ok, that being said...What's the plan? I can't come up with anything by my lonesome so I expect one of you two to come up with a plan" he continued to pet Libria on the head, completely unaware that he was still doing it xD Either that or he just enjoyed doing it...Still, he would not be distracted from his goal. To gain all the orbs and revive Briali.

Libria looked up at his hand and smiled a little, she enjoyed the attention, most people paid it to Felienne, as she was obviously the leader. "Mistress?"
Felienne was silently seething, "I will exist with whomever I choose", she told him icily, before closing her eyes, "We can't do the original plan, I doubt you could distract the guards enough for someone like HIM to slip through".
"New plan, su?"
"Well, according to the map my brother sent me, there is stained glass... Above the resting place of the orb. It's thick, supposedly indestructible..." she tilted her head. "Who actually believes that?"
"Nots me, su!"
"Right, if we break it, I can chuck the glass at anyone who tries to stop us."
"Pin them, su?"
"And destroy any means of contacting the others." Felienne added thoughtfully. "But how to break it... Initially it's made from melted sand... So theoretically speaking the quickest method would be to change the temperature rapidly." She opened her eyes. "You can lower the temperature no?"
"That'd take a lot of energy, su..." Libria blinked.
"Not all of the stained glass, a section large enough for us to get down from."
"How high, su?"
"Oh, not far, a mere 600ft, the temple's peak is a tad higher, as according to the map, the room with the orbs in is raised, assumedly to give the guards a better shot from the higher levels." Felienne nodded. Libria looked up,
"Tis tally-wall... The walls look very-vair smewth..." Libria commented.
"Indeed, which is why we will be watched less", Felienne rolled her eyes, "Don't be a fool now, Libria".
Libria tilted her head, "Sorry!!" she batted at Riku's hand a little, wondering whether he understood half of this... Since yeah, this person who refused to give his name now thought they were about to scale an impossible to climb temple, or how Libria planned to lower the temperature of the glass.
Felienne frowned as usual, *What if using her ice methods doesn't work?* she started thinking of different ways to shatter the glass. In a perfect world, they'd have something to MELT the glass but yeah, since when was this place perfect?
Also, they had to think of a way to make sure no-one else entered the same way... Hm. Although perhaps she was being too suspicious? Who on Earth would get through there?
Then it clicked.
Damn, 'Wolfie-kun' as Libria nicknamed him could easily enter through a hole in the ceiling.
...No matter, she would deal with him when the time came. |

Riku laughed softly as the pinkette tried to bat at his hand...It was cute xD He ruffled her hair a little more before glancing at Felienne and shrugging "we'll do it your way then...How do you plan on actually getting there then? The place is going to be guarded inside and out more than likely...I assume you'd rather not kill any guards so what is your method of bypassing such obstacles?" he was fairly amused by how bitter this girl was being towards him...And for what?

She sure didn't act like it xD
Libria tilted her head, befores tanding up, "Mistwess... Shall we goes, su?" Mistress was very... Volatile today.

"You common little- AGH, you're so incredibly IRRITATING!!!!" Felienne said through gritted teeth, "She has a name too!!!"
Libria herself didn't mind being called bunny. On the contrary she preferred it. "Ugh... Whatever, if Libria didn't like you I'd take the greatest pleasure in-"
"MISTWESSSSS", Libria complained loudly, "We ish wastying timey-wimey, su!"
That was her excuse anyway. Felienne paused.
"Fine fine, let us continue. Here, Libria", Felienne told her, and Libria went over to Felienne, who touched her collar for a moment and closed her eyes. "There, now I should conserve a measure of energy. Scout". Libria nodded and looked at the temple walls, before jumping exceedingly high, and tilting her head,
"Su!" then tumbling backwards. "Yups, they by there's su, lets go around and looks?"
"Indeed, lead the way", Felienne told her, as the girl bounced off again, Felienne started after her as Libria bounced up onto the wall and off, checking the guards position. "There?"
"Noes, su!" Libria called.
Felienne decided tactful ignorance of the annoying one with them was the better route. |
