He seemed to forget his mission for a moment. It was then did he realize this. He needed that orb.
"Ah. Crap." Kaii groaned, issuing another banner of lightening before breaking into a run, electricity flowing from his feet as he picked up his pace. Quickly now, he pushed his speed on his frail body, honestly unfit. Let's face it, this kid was used to flying, not a 300-yard sprint, hurdling over rubble; it was NEARLY like track. Not once in his life had he run so fast. And then, he passed his objective trying to come to a hault and instead plummeting onto the ancient brick.
"That's the second time." Kaii muttered, tail twitching.
The demon above managed a smirk.
"Idiot." He said quietly.

||You guys didn’t go three pages without me! –shocked-||
“You’re not supposed to break it, idiots,” the samurai muttered under her breath. As the mysterious man with the grappling hook began shooting at the Light, she instinctively tried to grab the orb which was so close. Suddenly, some kind of force field of opaque white surrounded her. The bullets struck, causing the field to waver slightly before losing their momentum and falling to the ground. One, nevertheless, managed to slip past the energy and scrape the Light’s arm. She cried out, blood gushing down the pale skin.
But she had it. She had the Orb… The frail one collapsed, clutching the powerful sphere close as the field dispersed into small sparkles of white light. At once the Orb pulsed with an emerald glow, but the illumination quickly died out. Shadows licked at Kiseki’s feet and slowly engulfed her form.
Now Kessai was a bit busy slicing the arrows in two to see this begin. A cackle shocked her out of her ‘warrior stupor’ and caused her to whip around. ”How surprising. You idiots are after the power I once sought and gained control of. Stupid children.”[/i] The Light slowly pulled herself together, standing with her head bowed. As she raised it, cold amber eyes flaked with crimson glanced over the different Elementals with contempt. ”It’s about time I had such energy in the palm of my hand. Let us see if my technique has gotten rusty.”[/i]
The mysterious entity in control of the Light’s body squeezed the orb a bit tighter. The vines covering the walls jumped off and shot out toward everyone.

A squeak escaped Mara's lips as she slipped backwards. She whimpered as a vine shot toward her. "I don't think so.." She murmured, making it shoot back toward whoever the fuck had shot it at her in the first place. As she was doing so, she sat on the banister.
"Mara, don't..!" Maraia protested, shaking her head furiously.
"But it'll be FUN!" Mara giggled. She pushed herself forward, giggling as she slid. As she came to a turn in the stairs, however, she slipped to the side and toppled off.
Let's just say it was a long way down o____o;;;;

"Nice try." Kiru muttered boredly, disappearing in what looked like a puff of black smoke, slowly materializing back in the shadows, a soft sweeping sound breaking the silence as the winged being landed quite nimbly on a large brick that seemed to protrude out from the walls. It was almost as if it was especially there for him, quite large, wide, and enough room for him to stand. He decided to test this new...being with a rather weak, mundane attack. A black, simple looking orb hovered about his palm. He aimed curtly at a nice chunk of glass still intact on the ceiling, watching it shatter deafeningly and begin to fall.

Kaii gave a hiss, striking down a portion of colored glass that began to fall over him. With a clap, lightning struck it down. Angrily, his eyes floated up to the demonic male overhead.
"Watch it!" He cried, flapping his little stubs of wings before flicking off the little pieces of glass that speckled his shirt. That...that...idiot! Why did HE have to be here?
