"Wha-" His eyes widened.
He needed that orb. Without thinking, he took a step back, slawed hands held in fists. He was about to jump after her, until something that was barely visible against the shadows caught his eye. His pink eyes fluttered a glare.
"LIBRIA. WATCH IT!" He said, tensing as the figure stopped moving. Cold, neon blue eyes looked up at the deep rose pink eyes.
A smirk, and Kiru looked up, eyes blazing in the darkness of his cloak.
"Ah. It's you. I'm surprised you're here already. Have you been enjoying those wings?" His voice drawled out, calm and mocking. "I'm sure it must've taken off a few pounds. You should be thanking me."
Kaii tensed, his small, wings hiding behind his back. No, they hadn't always been short and chibi. They were large, billowing, magnificent. Until his cocky ass had picked a fight from this demon that was spit out of hell. The son of a bitch left permanent, unhealing scars on him. An angel was nothing without his wings. Without his wings, he couldn't cross over to heaven.
Kiru smirked at the tense look on the cat boy's face before looking at the steadily falling Libria. An audible growl. She was everywhere, wasn't she? His eyes lingered to the orb. His black wings unfurled, invisible except for the shiny black feathers that caught sunlight. A glowing black ball shot out at the pink haired girl.
Kaii's eyes widened. Leaping off the edge, he pulled off an effort to take the blow. He couldn't use lightening in such a wilted place.

Mara cried out as the second arrow pierced her shoulder. She fell to one knee, placing her hand over it. "Ow.." She murmured, closing her eyes against the stabbing pain.
"Don't you dare pull it out, Mara!" Maraia warned, shooting an orb of fire at Felienne coldly, glaring at her. If looks could kill..
"I may be hurt, but I'm not stupid!" Mara yelled dafiantly.
"Mara, if you value your life, I suggest you SHUT UP."
Mara instantly fell silent.

Libria opened her eyes and sort of righted herself in the air. Shoooot she didn't need this!! "WOLFIE-KUNNNN!" she whined, "DUN BE MEAN, SU!" Dx However even she was not naive enough to think that that ball would be stopped. She frowned at it. She'd just have to dodge C: She untied her cloak and grabbed it as it floating upwards slightly, starting to use the cloak as a sort of... Parachute...  ; "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" xD Hopefully Kiru hadn't made the glowing black ball intelligent enough to adjust itself to her new decreasing falling speed. ~ Felienne darted into the air, hovering there suspiciously as the fireball shot underneath her, her eyes trained upon Maraia. Well there went the advantage of surprise. This other seemed to be in... Command of Mara. Advisory? Perhaps a bodyguard of some sort? Felienne's eyes narrowed at Mara. "Your gaze is as conflagrant as your medium", she commented, landing on the glass again and knocking the other arrow onto the string, before rapidly firing 3 arrows at Maraia. That incorrigable Mara-child was badly injured, yes, but Felienne needed to finish her off, which she couldn't do if this similarly caustic red-head was in the way. |

Riku's eyes flickered and he suddenly became quite angry...How dare this random guy try to shoot down Libria. He crouched down and quickly took out a single grenade, he locked his eyes onto his target and quickly yanked out the pin with his teeth, hurling the grenade towards the feet of Kiru. With a higher vantage point, he should have the advantage just incase Kiru somehow survived the explosion.

His eyes narrowed. Great.
"Fuck." He growled, falling back into the shadows. It wasn't until he disappeared into the shadows, did his voice echo in the room.
"Sending a grenade in for it to explode the goddamn orb. You're not exactly clever, are you?" He was speaking, but focused on the ball of darkness slamming into the side of the wall, the building groaned, and let rubble fall loose. Laughter rung out.

Kaii winced at the Lord's name spoken in vain, before passing by Libria as he fell. Well, at least it didn't hit her, but if Libria kept on dodging, then this temple would be in pieces in no time. He landed with a thump on the ground, carefully, and crouched. He winced in pain as the tremor of landing wriggled up his body, feet hurt from the shock. Standing, he brushed himself off, looking up. Instantly, his eyes widened. A grenade.
"Oh jeez." He squeaked, backing up against the wall and ducking for cover.

As long as he melted in the shadows, he was safe. He was the shadows. Or, in one of them. Kiru grit his teeth. What was that idiot thinking? Now what was going to happen with that orb?

||I think I’m still lost.  || Everything happened at once. The samurai heard the crash of a window ahead. Her silver eyes narrowed dangerously and harbored a glare which could bore holes into walls (if that was anyway possible). Kiseki shivered as the other sped up, the grip upon her frail wrist growing tight. The younger winced; she’d be sporting a pretty nasty bruise later on. The sixteen-year-old’s mind was averted when she and her companion slid to a not-so graceful stop. Kiseki held an arm over her eyes as she heard the sounds of combat ahead of them. Kessai growled lowly, immediately unsheathing her sword. These were probably the other Elementals battling out for the Orb. Perhaps… All of her mind processes stopped when her gaze landed on the item. Sitting plainly on a pedestal, the glass object held gleaming emerald light, Earthen power swirling around inside of it. Kiseki stood there for a few moments, entranced by the mere presence of the Earth Orb. Obtain the Earth Orb. Absorb its powers and give it to me.[/i] Kiseki had no choice but to obey the mysterious, and sudden, voice within her mind. She sprinted forward, much to the dismay of Kessai. The room and its inhabitants seemed to melt away, and all she could see was the Orb. Kiseki didn’t hear the clash of the attacks nor the slight bounce of the grenade into the room. She reached out her arm to grab the object, completely unaware of the charms surrounding it. |

Riku rolled his eyes as the grenade exploded, blowing a small hole out of one of the walls and causing dust and grit to fill the room slowly "it's a grenade, not a nuclear explosive you idiot" he kindly corrected Kiru "I'm suprised you were allowed out on your own with your clearly superior worldly knowledge" he chuckled, reaching into his side-bag again and pulling out a rope. He sat on the very edge of the huge gaping hole in the wall and reached into a second side-bag to retrieve a grappling hook. He began to thread the rope through the hole and tied it with a double knot, very securely. He then began to twirl the hook in the air and threw it forward to the other side of where he was, watching the hook 'grab' onto the top of the wall. Riku gave the rope a testing tug before taking a deep breath and swinging forward, holding his feet out so he didn't smack into the wall. He glanced down at Kiseki and narrowed his eyes "that won't do..." he reluctantly let go of the rope with one hand to retrieve his pistol and took aim, firing down bullets at Kiseki as she ran whilst slowly sliding down the rope and quietly chanting "owropeburnowropeburnowropeburn"

Maraia snickered and shot a fireball at Felienne. Mara bounced a ball of dirt up and down in her hand and giggled. "I'VE GOT A JAR OF DIRRRRRRT!"
Maraia sighed and proceeded to smack her head against the wall.

((OoC: Just LOLZ Tutu xxx)) Libria giggled as Riku muttered, though was scared of those bullets, soon enough she landed on the ground and rolled, letting go of her cloak and looking the shinies absently. "OooOooOhhh..." Dear God. "I'll cool down those burns laterrrr silvery-man, su!" she called, getting up and looking at Kiseki, and Kai. "LIBRIA LILITH MIBRI. FREAKIN' GET THAT ORB", Felienne yelled. "Haiiii..."  Felienne crashed into the ground dodging the second fireball, possibly bruising her coxis. Ugh. "Don't tell me that my families rival is a child in all aspects", Felienne groaned, shooting more arrows at the ball of earth. "What jar?" She clearly didn't get the reference -eyeroll-. |

Ooh. Let's see here. A plan, was what he had concocted just now, his coy smirk slowly sliding into place as he glided through the shadows, completely blended in. And then he appeared, perched quite calmly on the ledge of where the stain glass ended. Wings had gotten him most of the way, for it was much faster than the thick shadows.
They coiled, curled, the ebony wings slightly flared, retracting into a neat fold behind his back. A pair of piercing blue orbs shone through the darkness of the cloak. Since they didn't know what he looked like for the time being, he'd obviously have an advantage of lying low once he got rid of this damn thing. Kiru merely rolled his eyes at the thought, waiting for the fight of this orb to commence.

Kaii winced just the slightest at the explosion. His innocent appearence probably gone now as his pink eyes darkened almost to a red color. What had protected him was nothing really important, simple use of his element really. His thin body slightly curled and hunched, eyes wide. He hated weapons. Hated them. Magic, Elements...that was fine, but bombs, and guns...just really freaked or pissed him off.
Brushing himself off, he looked for the orb, finding someone in particular going for it. Well then. Kaii took a step back, slapping his hands together and a beam of lightning shooting down as a warning sign nearly next to it. It was by inches did it miss the closest to the orb. Of course, he wouldn't go to harming someone if necessary.

Riku landed on his feet and took the moment to yelp as he stared down at his throbbing red hands "oooh god..." he murmured, cringing a little as he pulled the cartridge out of his gun and reloaded. He took a moment to survey the scene and noticed that Libria was making a run for the orb, some other girl who he had tried shooting at was busy trying to take the orb and Felienne was currently trying to...Beat up a child? Fantastic. However, where was that guy with his terrific knowledge of explosives? Riku couldn't see him anywhere...Riku shrugged as he watched Libria run, being thankful for the promised help xD "Go on Libria! Get that orb! You can have all the sugar in the world after!" he'd brought a bit of money...If she could get that orb then she deserved a statue in her likeness made of nothing but marzipan.

Mara blinked wide green eyes at Felienne. "Why fire at me?" She asked, tossing the dirt to the side. "I didn't do no-"
"Anything, hikari."
"I didn't do ANYTHING." She corrected, tilting her head to the side and pouting slightly. She wrapped her arms around herself and winced as she jarred the arrow. "Ow.." She whimpered, stroking the feathers lightly.

Libria darted off, grinning to herself.
What Libria would do for sugar is Riku's business and Riku's business only xP (Libria: EXCUSE ME?! Me: -Folmao-)
She eyed Kiseki warily. The girl had a strange... Absent quality about her.
Felienne's eyes half-closed, her bow and arrow pointing directly at the one called 'Hikari' as she stood. Light. Pah.
"It's revenge, Mara, revenge for what your family did to my family. I will deal it swift and surely, and you, who seems to be naught but a child, will not stand in my way".
