XD I NEED YOUR HELP HERE. ||It's usually assumed that it's the first day of the new school year. So you can probably think of it as early fall, slightly chilly, as summer is just ending. And like, it's eight in the morning. As for normal kids, there are some. XD But no one here usually plays one.||

The image was still vivid in her mind. Before birth; the spirit of the Rooster trotted up to her, bowed its small, feathery head, and spoke.
Rooster..?
Why is a Rooster here..?
Oh.. it's talking.. I can't.. really hear..
Light brown eyes flickered open as the lunch bell played from the speakers of her advisement class. Students rose, quietly talking in pairs as the exited the room, while some stayed put and brought out their lunches as they reviewed their homework or reviewed for a test. Dressed in the colors of the Rooster's plummage. Feet enclosed in thin carmine sneakers, the soles an obsidian hue propped up on the desk, a black cap tilted to the side as her soft, hazel, layered hair with red streaks at the tips cascaded down to her shoulders. Red shirt with black splotches, black shorts - this female was ready to blow this joint. School, school, school. Rain's gaze was drawn to the outside world, watching two birds twittering as they glided away. Yes. She wanted to fly away from all this.. business. She had to be ...
Unsocial. Avoiding. Silent.
Hands curled into a crossing position, a small sigh escaped her lips. Her pale skin glimmered as the sun rays shone through the windows of the private school.
The Power of Sound was under her hands. A mere clap could shoot strong sound waves - ah, but only with the intention of an offensive thought this could happen. Something hit her forehead - right on the mark - and she let out a hiss as her gaze bore into the teacher. "Feet. Down." Reluctantly, thin legs were lowered from the desk as the mystical female decided to check out the lunch areas. Standing up with her black tote bag, Rain jogged out of the class. No, she wouldn't eat the fattening food. She'd daze in the lunch area; where she could at least be left alone. Her feet tapped the ground; and a sweet tinkling sound rang quietly through the hallways.
+ Edit'd intro. Weird ending. XD; +

Good beginning... bad ending. xD; He felt as if he was wearing a sign on his head that said, "new kid."
It was amusing, however, how weak most of the insolent teenagers at this new school thought him to be. Intelligence, apparently, meant you were supposed to be punched in the face - thing is, those fools never managed to lay a hand on Ryuu.
The dragon was cunning and agile; so was Ryuu.
Each time they would swing their fist at his stomach as if trying to hit a homerun with a mere baseball (using their arm as the bat, of course), Ryuu would nimbly sidestep and one of their cronies would double over with a groan of pain. Shouts of anger would commence, the bullies amazed at the pale teen's speed. After about a half hour of this, they backed off, bored - the sharp features of the emotionless facade suddenly crinkled in amusement, lips curling up in a small smirk. Bullies were stupid and Ryuu was not; a bully, no matter their size, was no match for the green-haired boy.
Especially because the teen had a pocket knife on his "belt."
The first day at this new school - a boring place for the seventeen-year-old - was monotonously repetitive. In each of his first three classes - Algebra, Science, English, and Gym - all he did was introduce himself to his peers (and vice-versa). Luckily, lunch began as soon as gym ended. Ryuu quickly walked from the gym (having not even bothered to change into shorts, for he didn't think they made him look sexayy enough) to the cafeteria, dressed in black jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt, a gray vest, and some black tennis shoes. Apparently, the guy preffered darker tones - but ones clothes match their personality, and although Ryuu was a being of Light, thoughts of murder plagued his mind (only the murder of villains, but thoughts of murder nonetheless).
The teen abruptly sat down at an empty table, not bothering to get anything to eat. It was all crap - it tasted gross or it just wasn't healthy. The vain teen didn't want to gain 10 pounds in a matter of days - he liked being lean and strong... it was easier to take down the bullies that way.
"This day is going by very slowly..."

Patience. Patience. Patience.
A snicker broke out in the back of the classroom. The teacher, looking up from several notes that she had been writing for the teen at her desk, was unaware of the casual sweep the teen's hand made, closing on a silver bell that the teacher occasionally used to grab the attention of the class. As it was about to jingle, the teen changed her grip to hold the clapper before slipping it into a hooded sweatshirt pocket.
The two boys, who had proved a handy distraction by their outburst, quickly looked up to see the teacher's eyes boring into them and moved back to their word {reluctantly}.
"Now, Skye, where was I...?"
The teen, Skye, quickly restated her fictional question.
Patience. Patience. Patience.
Running from the scene of a crime-- sus-pic-ious. The teacher finished off the note with a flourish, not exactly smiling but seeming kinder now then she had to the two boys. The piercing look would not stray to Skye the next time her hand reached for the bell to find it gone.
Atleast, that was what the seventeen-year-old hoped.
When this bell was found missing, the blame would not land on Skye. It would land on old age; something that adults liked to be self-deprecating on. Surely it was just old age.
Or it could have been the thieving teenager.
Allowing herself a small smirk, she resumed her desk seat, reluctantly leaving the calculating and exhilarating world of theft to return to a much less enjoyable topic -- school. For the heck of it, the female read the notes given to her by the teacher, pretending to study it before continuing with her work, only allowing a second's glance at the teacher, who would find it suspicious that she understood the topic from the beginning and did not need the notes. Thus the question might continue to what did she need.
Skye didn't need to steal; however, it was something of an obsessive hobby. Something that she highly enjoyed. Something where her "talents" could come to use.
The female was silver-gray haired, tapered to barely reach her neck in front and fall sufficiently down her spine in back. The eyes scanning the room where equally silver with only the faintest traces of blue.
Nature vs. Nurture; it wasn't hard to learn where her traits came from. A silver spirit with bright eyes and a thin tail had approached her in a dream that seemed to constantly tug at her memory. Born on Chinese New Year on the year of the rat; very fitting. Somehow, unexplainably, she knew that the creature was a natural thief, cunning, calculating, and evasive. There was nothing admirable about a thief. However, being "admirable" was not what naturally appealed to the short teen. Her sinewy, muscled build suggested a gymnast or acrobat, both of which she could easily pass for.
"Skye, can you come up here for a moment?"
The child froze and an instant chill hit the room. Often immense, short bursts of stress could change the air. Several children shivered. She stood up reluctantly, approaching.
"I forgot to give you that extra worksheet you asked for." said the teacher. Skye, quick to compose herself, smiled sweetly.
"Thanks. I was just looking for that."
Muffling the bell with a silk cloth, she stuffed the bell into her bag once returning to her desk. If one were to inspect her room, you'd find various other items of random interest; mutant candy, a cellphone (She hadn't called using it for fear of being identified; the subscription had been cancelled anyhow.), and probably her most admirable achievement; the nameplate of the previous headmaster. Perhaps her favorite habit was becoming an obsession, The honest truth? Skye just didn't care.

Ring Ring
The sound of the loud lunch bell jolted a girl from her thoughts, leaving a large, unwanted line on the paper in front of her. Dammit she thought, erasing it with what little eraser she had left.
"Illanian, it's time to go." The teacher said from behind the desk. Illanian growled silently, walking out of the Geography classroom. "It's Lani." She said under her breath, carrying her notebook with her to the already crowded lunchroom. Lani had wavy auburn hair that falls to the bottom or her shoulder blades, usually, as it was now, tied back into a loose braid. Her eyes are a mysterious deep green set into a naturally tanned face.
Today she wore a pair of loose black pants that gave her legs a ton of room to breath, but her forest green, flared sleeve shirt was tight fitting. Her form was unusually stocky for a girl her age, but she wasn't ashamed of it. Actually, she loved the fact that she could scare off anyone with a show of her strength or a glare.
She thought back to the form that flitted at the edges of her mind; the subject of her current story. It was of a tiger that seemed to speak to her, though she could not quite remember what it said.
Without really knowing she had arrived, her friends called her over to their table. Yes, theirs. They had worked hard to keep that particular table, this year and last. She smiled and walked over, immediately opening her notebook to write more of her story. No one even gave Lani a second glance, they were used to her writing instead of eating. She had gone into her own world, where she remained indifferent to the conversations her friends were having.

Sadly, the cutie isn't mine. ): Ic;; "You've got to be kidding." His mouth would've been agape if he was a more emotional fellow. THIS was the estate he was to live on? No, no, no, he was NOT going to a boarding school. There was just no way in hell. Yet, he had nowhere else to go. This could serve as...decent headquarters for a while. Maybe. Now he regretted even listening to the dean of this hole. "We can offer you a suitable home for now" was what that man said. Hah. Suitable my ass. He lugged about his messenger bag as he ventured through the gates, eternal dread sinking down his shoulders. Pained, blue eyes looked out through a half-closed curtain of soft black locks, straight and jagged in the front and effortlessly spiked up in the back. It was in his hair that hid a pair of black, fluffy ears with white and pale tan splotches of fur where the cartilage met the skull. Thank god their were hidden completely, despite their size. His ripped dark colored jeans were worn with a fitted charcoal grey long sleeve, a black military jacket with old, gold buttons that had worn engravings in them. Wrapped around his neck was a loose silver chain, the charm connected to it hidden from view. The leaves crunched under his feet as he walked down the concrete path to the grand steps of the school. Grey smoke filtered from a brown and white stick held between his index and thumb. For use of an arm, he slid the cigarette into his mouth and opened the door casually, sliding his foot in to hold it opened. The male looked older than the students here, and had to be if he had the guts to be smoking on the premises. "Vermin must be all in their classes..." He said to himself, looking about the neat, and silent hallway. Suddenly. RIIINNGGG The dormant corridors sprung to life. Curious looks were aimed at him, and many wrinkled noses at the smell of the nicotine-infected stick he had in his lips. He smirked, and made his way through the crowd to the office. At 6'6 he towered over the 9-12th graders, slipping into the schmancy office. The woman at the desk smiled. A generic smile, he quickly figured, and stood there expectantly. "Kiru, correct? You're the one who will be residing here?" "That's what John said." He squelched, raising an eyebrow. Her smile faultered at his sharp words. Dear Lord, they had a caustic one. She tried to change the subject quickly. "So, are you a relative? His nephew?" She mentally tried to piece some sort of resemblance between the two. "No. More of an old friend." He said, lips curling into a smirk. "Oh! Really now? I-" "I'll take over from here, Marissa. Thank-you." An older voice said, wearing a suit and tie. Kiru looked sideways to spot the Dean standing there, in the doorway of his office. "Hello." He said, nodding at the other male. "Come in, come in." He said, motioning for the male to come in. Reluctantly, he followed, and the door was closed behind them.
