Have you ever wondered what some of us talk like in the general board? One of them is the real person while the other seems like a different personality completely. This is what we call a muse.
By definition, a muse is a source of inspiration (Webster)
Yet, we who use them think of muses as split personalities almost. For example, I have a muse for when I'm in a depressing or evil mood, one when I want to act intelligent but proves I still have my flaws, and one for when I feel particularly hyperactive. They can even double as you role playing character!
If you have no wish to use a muse, that's fine. I highly encourage you to join the fun. After all, two minds are definitely better than one.
